I couldn’t put the book down. It is an easy read with all your favourite stereotypes of the poor girl meet the rich guy.
The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that “she’s not like other girl”, like we get it girl. You can stop mentioning it.

This book had a fast-moving plot and interesting characters, but it was hard to like Jazz. I get a little irritated when the heroine is admired for being "authentic" when really she's just an asshole to everyone. She starts hanging out with Kingston and his friends after they embarrass her , and she barely confronts them about it. She also constantly leads Bentley on and uses his attention to make Kingston jealous. These are high school aged characters so I excuse some shitty behavior because they're young, but I wish she had some deeper self-reflection and at least felt bad about doing it.
Spoiler
(pay someone to get her wasted, and then spread naked pics/video around the school)

The story starts off hot, and keeps it up through the whole book. Jazz is unlike any Windsor Academy has seen. She is tough as nails, but hurts on the inside even though she doesn't want anyone to see her. She is battling a new school, horrible bully's, and a home that feels like a prison. She is supposed to move into her dad's home and forget that she ever had a life before Windsor Academy. Her step-sister doesn't want to be ousted from her top spot, and will stop at nothing to make sure Jazz is out.
Warning: The book tells you that there are triggers, and be warned this is true. This warning is not something to be taken lightly. Personally, I have few triggers, and enjoy the dark and gritty.

Wicked Liars is the first book in the Windsor Academy series. This book is a dark high school bully romance. This book is told from the dual point of view from Jasmine (Jazz) and Kingston.
Jazz has lived with her mom and sister Bell her whole life. She is 17 years old and her mother passed away. She discovers she has a father and is sent to live with him. Upon arriving she learns she has a stepmother and stepsister. Her stepsister Peyton is one of the three Queens of the school and has a hatred for Jazz from the get go. Peyton is in a relationship with Kingston.
Kingston starts to have feelings for Jazz. Jazz becomes friends with Ainsley (Kingston's sister) which is how Kington comes to be around Jazz. Kingston doesn't know if he can trust Jazz since she doesn't fall in line like everyone else. Peyton has her minions go after Jazz as much as they can.
This book ends with Jazz questioning everything. She doesn't know who she can trust. It ends on a cliffhanger.
I really loved this book, and can't wait to read the next one!
