This book was not for me.

It has some funny moments and some laugh out loud moments. A strong, outspoken FMC, but the story never grips me. I love the nickname he has for her instantly, I like that he realises that he wants her and goes for it straight away.
I think for me the story doesn’t go enough in depth. So if you want a quick, easy read, without to much drama. This might be for you.

i enjoyed this book at the time because i was in my hockey era but now…. meh

Started good but then became too sappy.

What so he publicly confesses his love and all that drama and heartache was solved within 5 sentences. I think not.

Where is the passion to get back together the raw drama of fighting for your woman. It wasn’t in this book I’ll tell you that.

I was happily giving this 5 stars until 90% thorough instant 2 star decrease for above reasons.

I’m struggling to rate this one, because I did like the story but felt like the writing could be tightened up. The H called the h “kitten” but then used it outside of just a pet name, and used it instead of her actual name for everything, like “Kitten was wearing…” etc. and I found that to be on the cringy side. The story itself was very cute and I enjoyed the H being possessive while also being sweet! I’ll rate it 3.5 stars and round down.
