After the Idris is raised, Mira needs to gather allies from gods abandoning them. So, she sets to sail for empire with her friends along with the spy. There she needs to find the first dragons bones and bring them home to unite it with fallen gods. The empress doesn’t give everything for free. She needs something from Mira. And the time is running out for Mira with eclipse near by.

Mira can only make gods not abandon them by sacrificing something very she love.
But will she be able to save fallen isles?
Will she sacrifice the most she love?

After 300 pages, I just wanted this book to be done. I felt like I was reading this forever because it became extremely monotonous, repetitive, and redundant. At 525 pages, despite being a series finale, this book was entirely too long and drawn out.

A great conclusion to this series. I have been a fan of Jodi Medows since I 1st read her Newsoul series and I have eagerly picked up all of her books since. She has yet to disappoint me. Her books suck me in every time. I get pulled into the fantastic characters and worlds she has created and love every minute of it.

This series yet again had great characters. I adore Mira. The titles of these books do a great job at hinting at the epic journey (emotionally and physically) she is going on. Mira surrounds herself with a great cast of friends and protectors. Sure her sister annoyed me at times but I understood where she was coming from so it was an acceptable character trait.

The dragons!!! There were so many different dragons and I loved them all, especially Lala. She was adorable. She almost seemed like a dragon sized kitten, who could breathe fire, at times (well at least to me).

***SPOILERS****

Was the Great Abandonment stopped...no.
Did it have a happy ending...for the most part.

What matters is Mira never gave up, her friends trusted her to make the tough choices, sacrifices were made, and new home was found.

I was getting ready to quit this series because book 1 and 2 2here so hard to get thur. But the end of book two and the pace of this book made it worth it.

I felt like not all of the info added up, somehow, and I couldn't really understand Mira sometimes, but it was still good.

I started last year by reading the first book of this series, and started this year by reading the last one. This was an intense ride from beginning to end, and even when I was fairly positive what the ending would be, I was surprised by the final twist at the end, one that should have been fairly obvious with hindsight.

It was a good conclusion to the trilogy, I really enjoyed seeing Mira's story from beginning to end, and how far she's come without losing any of the things that made her... her.

This was a very well-written book. Filled with emotion, anguish, action, and romance. As the dragons of the Isles fall more and more into the hands of the Empire Mira and her friends must find a way to save them, before calamity destroys their world.

There is something more to love seeing beautiful dragons of all kinds and shapes together. Mira has matured since the first book and she proves to be a fierce leader who is ready to sacrifice everything for her people and the ones she loves. While some characters felt like they needed more time for their own development, like Altan, the ending was very satisfactory and breathtaking.

Especially the final scene with the dragons and Mira.
THAT WAS AMAZING!

Another amazing series by Jodi Meadows is finished. I will equally be anticipating and hope for more new stories by her.

I read this almost in one sitting, so yay me. Pretty easy to read, all in all a nice conclusion to the series. My only qualm about it was the ending because it felt rushed. I felt like I needed one or two chapters after the last one to explain things in a more detailed way. There were a few things that needed... more. What happened to the governments? Are there a new system or did people keep the previous one? Did people separate by isles again or just lived in one all together? What about the culture based in all the gods, did they just start anew or kept the traditions as they were even after what happened? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Other than those unanswered questions, it was a solid 4-star read for me.
