What a fun romp. Logan and Darcy will make you laugh, frustrate you into yelling at your poor device, and almost immediately turn those groans of irritation into sighs. I recommend this to anyone who loves a cheeky romance with all the essential ingredients.
Darcy is nothing like Logan’s type. To his utter confusion, he finds himself bewitched by her. Too bad that Darcy has already decided that Logan isn’t the one for her. Can he change her mind?
After the Duke of Manhattan, I was looking forward to Darcy’s story. I loved the banter between Darcy and Logan. It was laugh out loud funny at times. Plus, I enjoyed it when Darcy put Logan in his place. Despite the chemistry of these characters, I felt this story dragged a bit in places. It wasn’t terrible but enough to make the story good, not great.
Overall, I didn’t enjoy the narration. Shane East’s narration was on point. I could totally envision sexy Logan Steele. I wasn’t a fan of the narration by Imogene Church. Her voices for the female characters besides Darcy sounded the same. Her delivery of Logan was inconsistent with the character.
I would recommend this book but suggest you read rather than listen to it.

I absolutely adored this book! I get so excited to pick up books by this author, she just writes so beautifully. Her characters are always amazing and I know that I am going to fall in love with them straight away. I think I fell in love with Logan as soon as I started reading about him. He was everything I love in an alpha male, hot, broody and very sexy!
Darcy was just amazing! I loved her character so much (seeing’s as I liked her in previous books I knew I would love in her in her own story!) I loved how she was not afraid to stand up to Logan even with that simmering chemistry was there between them almost instantly. Both Darcy and Logan were strong, independent characters in their own right which is why I loved them together.
Louise Bay’s books really are a joy to read, I love every minute of the time that I am consumed by her words. The characters flow from different books but this can be read as a standalone.
I can’t wait for more from Louise Bay in the future!

I loved it! My heart was in my throat for a part of it, but it all resolved itself to a wonderful HEA!
Very pleased that Darcy has got her own book!
Loved the latter part of the book, not so keen on the earlier part. Logan's need to subjugate women didn't sit well with me... I am all for the alpha, however his deliberate need to control and... really, I suppose, humiliate in a sexual way... any woman who he deemed successful in business. Bit sad really, and not very alpha imo. I do find Louise Bay's impression of Britain a little odd too... all a bit Jilly Cooper-ish , and that world hasn't existed for a few decades ( I lived in London for many years and grew up in and have now returned to the Royal Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire - so am well versed in both sides of this particular coin. I know, according to her bio, she was very much into eighties mini series & 'beach' books... but... ).
Now, that sounds negative... but I really truly wouldn't have rated it 3 stars if I didn't like it... honest! But, think that the Indigo Nights and Empire State series of books are my favourite of hers... so far!

This is the first book by Louise Bay that I have read and it wont be my last. She has a way with words, a good way that is. She pulls you into the story so easily with her writing style and words.
This is a emiemies to lovers feel good romance story. Which I love to read. I loved all of the characters. The story was fun, sexy with a lot of romance with some very hot sex scenes. There was a few misunderstandings but they got sorted out eventually.
This story reminded me of Bridget Jones movies a bit at the start with how Logan and Darcy met. Darcy being clumpsy and getting covered in mud.
I loved Darcy, she's this strong, confident and independent woman. She doesn't take shit from anyone espcially not Logan Steele. She's also very caring and passionaite about things.
Logan Steele is everything you would want in a man. He's confident, sexy, and very career driven.
He's definatley charming both in work and his personal life.
These two characters went together perfectly. Logan would've never been happy with someone that doesn't challenge him and that's exactly what Darcy does.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between them, you could just feel it between them.
The story is definatley one you just want to curl up and keep reading.
The book is wrapped up at the end, no cliffhangers, just a nice HEA that everyone can love.

A solid entry from Louise Bay, whose smart characters and interesting settings continue to satisfy. This one concerns an Englishwoman living in the countryside and trying to run her family's estate in keeping with tradition, and a new neighbour who at first seems very nouveau rich with his helicopter and ideas about development but turns out to have old ties to the area too. Although I get a lot of pleasure from these books, I did have some moments of hesitation or discomfort during this one. The hero was a little more alpha than I wanted him to be. I didn't mind that he had a lot of sex before meeting the heroine but I did mind that he didn't really treat the women he had sex with as individual people. I am also starting to feel a little guilty about the glorification of wealth and privilege in these books, and felt it especially here with the emphasis on inherited money. I actually wanted the book to go deeper into some of the interesting conflicts that came up early on: what is the right balance between bringing new money into a community and preserving tradition? What does it mean if a man insists you give up all control in the bedroom and you kind of like it (I don't think I would, by the way)? And what do privileged people owe their community? Having said that, I can't deny that I deeply enjoy the vicarious thrill ride of falling in love alongside these characters.
