Dnf'd at 56%. I had great hopes for this as it was recommended. It was a good book until the shadow beast appeared. Then afterwards it was just so slow and dull. Nothing happens. There's no tension. He always threatens to kill her but can't. Urgh. Just one viewpoint. I get she hasn't had the best time growing up but she repeats it so many times I just don't care.

I’ve been wanting read Rejected ever since I found it right before Christmas, but when I saw that there would be a second book featuring the same heroine, I decided to wait until it was out before staring. Then I waiting some more when I saw a third book was coming, but I was determined to pick it up once it came out, especially after learning the fourth book is supposed to be a standalone. So as soon as Reborn was live, I immediately went and downloaded Rejected and began it right away! I did take my time with this book, but it was honestly one of those where I could have read every moment that I was able to, but I’m glad I didn’t rush through because I absolutely loved Rejected and allowing it room to breathe just made me appreciate it more. It was so interesting, exciting, and entertaining — I couldn’t get enough and I’m going to get Reclaimed right now and dive in!

Good book but felt like they kept things from each other which lead to alot of things that could of been avoided. I yelled at them so much in my head.

DNF at 33%. Super repetitive and could not get into the writing or any of the characters.

It actually took me awhile to get into this book. I would start reading, get sucked in by another story and stop, start again, etc. I’m not sure exactly what moment it changed but I’m thoroughly pleased I kept reading.

I love a good rejected shifter story but the introduction of Shadow made things much more interesting. You don’t usually expect the saviour to be a grumbly asshole demon who just kidnapped the rejected female.

The characters and world-building in this book was very well done. The writer gave just enough to grab me and entice me but it wasn’t too much information that I was overwhelmed. I wanted more.

This book was amazing. It was the perfect mix of angst, humor and storyline. It was very unique. I loved all the side characters. I especially love how there is so much potential for spin-off stories, yet this book remained focused on the main heroine without starting multiple different storylines. I definitely recommend!
