I wish I had read this book before I went to Amsterdam so I could have seen the doll house for myself. I liked listening to this story because Burton wrote with so much attention to detail without being a drag.

Really good read. It seemed historically and culturally accurate, and my heart went out to the protagonist. The author did not answer every question, and I appreciated that. I love reading about the Netherlands, so that made it all the more enjoyable.
