Really great stuff! I learned a lot even though I didn't absorb it all because I listened to it at 2x speed while running and I spaced out here and there during the most scientific parts. It was great to learn more about the why behind how much sleep affects mental health. I feel like I cover the need to get more sleep in session with clients but it is usually kind of dismissed but this book makes the case for sleep very compelling so I guess I need to be more enthusiastic about it.

I learned so much from this book, I took a ton of notes and I have already found myself applying things that I learned. I like that his years of experience are scientific enough that I could trust them but not written in a way that made me feel like a textbook, I was fully engaged most of the time.

This book, a comprehensive analysis of the important role that sleep plays in our lives, was rather long but extremely well done and informative and I am so glad I read it. I truly think all adults, particularly very busy ones with demanding careers and family obligations, should read (or listen to) this book. There is little (if anything) about our lives and health that sleep does not affect, and this book changed the way that I think about sleep.

Quite literally EVERY person should read this book! It is fascinating how incredible sleep is and our entire world needs to know the importance of it and seek to make it a higher priority in our daily lives!
