Fantastic book. Everything from economics to personal mania to tabloid gossip gets covered in the story of a cute stuffed animal. It's a quick read and worth your time.

This was a really fun read! I was pretty young when the beanie baby craze happened and only have flashbulb memories of the McDonalds portion so diving into it more was great. It's a light read which works well for the topic.

This was so interesting! As someone who had a ton of Beanie Babies as a kid (not for resale, just to play with), reading about adults going nuts for these and how the huge secondary market for them happened was super interesting, as was learning about the "dark side" of the company's founder.

It moved a little slowly in the final third of the book, but I still really enjoyed it and wanted to continue reading. This book was my perfect mix of insider gossip and business case study. If you like that sort of thing too, check this one out!
