(I received an ARC for this book)

Of the three, I think this is my favorite. Not only is Dom my favorite brother (don’t tell the others) but his and Val’s story held the most power. It held so much heavy emotion all the way through. It was easy to root for them. To root for Dom, for Val, and for them to find their footing together. While we got plenty of Enzo and Carm in the first two books, we never really got anything from Dom. He was such a mystery, which means I only needed him that much more. And of course, that ending for book two…Dom is the reasonable brother. The responsible brother. The wise older brother. However, that is not the brother we are welcomed by! Dom and Val have a deep connected past. She was never meant to be his, she was always meant for someone else. They may have been apart, but they were never without the other. When we got more information about Val, because she’s been his mystery woman through the series until now, I swear my eyebrows went up to my hair line and my jaw hit the floor. I was ready for a mess, but not this kind of mess! But it’s their mess, and it was beautiful to see them finally maneuver through it together. There’s a lot of moving parts for them to work through until they finally get their happily ever after. Especially when their parents get involved, and now everyones’ hearts are being played with, including mine! Dom knows that if anyone can change him, make him a better man, it’s Val. But is that a fight she’s willing to endure? Her mind is so focused on the negatives of the situation, she misses all the positive things. He’s hurt time and time again. He tries to turn his emotions off. To protect himself, protect her. And it’s painful to watch it unfold. Dom and Val’s heartbreak was my heartbreak. I suffered when they suffered. I really thought from the beginning that Carm was going to be my favorite; that he was a shoo-in. But now that I know Dom, I am so much more protective of him. And no matter how much I got of him, it was never enough. Val on the other hand…well, she’s no Annie or Bella. She always assumes the worst, never accepts any blame. She’s quick to run. I was hesitant when it came to whether or not she deserved Dom. I hated that so much fell back on Dom and he had to carry so much of the pain and heartbreak.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “Do you want breakfast, Mrs. Mancini, or should we each call our attorneys first?”
• “I’ll always want the world for you, whether it involves me or not.”
• “There’s nothing platonic about us.”
• “If there was a woman in this world who could change me, it’d be you.”
• “As delicious as always.”
• “I’m not picky. As long as it’s you I get.”
• “You stand on the first pedestal. It’s always you. Always.”
• “Do you not pay attention to me? There’s only one woman I want that with.”

Dom and the elusive Val!! I was so excited for this final book in the trilogy, so curious just what the story is with the remaining single brother Dom and his childhood, first love Val. Some Vegas shenanigans result in an unexpected marriage- and as they try to figure out just how to dissolve this unexpected union, these two longing lovers have to confront their past feelings and baggage.

This one was definitely the angstiest of the bunch, in part because both characters can be quite frustrating. These two are very hard headed and scared to open up to each other, but I love their HEA. And I loved the ensemble involvement- classic PR family fun. And so happy all the Mancini brothers finally have their happy ending.

This one was my least favorite of the Mancini brothers, but it was still a super quick and easy read. I like that it explains some of Dom's behavior in the earlier books, but I'm not a fan of on and off relationships. I wanted to shake Dom and Val several times just to get them to be honest with each other and stop making excuses. I liked their love story and how we got to see more of the other Mancini couples and their cousins, the Bianco brothers. I can't wait for Blanca's book since I feel like we haven't got to see a whole lot of her yet.

Holy Banana Sandwiches Ladies and Germs! I tried to sneak this out of Piper and Rayne much earlier than this but to no avail, but man was this worth the wait! I have never been disappointed in anything these ladies have put out, but they are masters of the tease....

I don’t know how I feel about this book. I liked it, but at the same time I found it annoying. I was annoyed with both Dom and Val at multiple points in the story. For me, it was definitely the weakest book in the series.

It is indeed steamy. The chemistry between Dom and Val is off the chart. I love their push and pull. I love they hold back from their attraction because they think they do not fit each other. I also like their parents mingle with their business. The author done a good job bringing out the secondary characters to live.

The story is marriage trap. The plot is there with the right amount of layers and sweet sexy banter. I like Dom. He seems very aloof outside but inside he is fighting his attraction toward Val. And I also love how Val pinning for Dom after her divorce.

Overall I do enjoy this book very much.

Dom was easily my favorite Mancini brother in the series up to this point, so I had high expectations for his book. He was such a secretive and brooding character, I was desperate to find out exactly what his deal was!

I really liked Val, the heroine. She had a really sweet demeanor and was driven and caring. You could tell she had true and deep feelings for Dom from the get-go. There was nothing about her character that I didn't like. She was safe. Maybe a little too safe.

I loved this couple together. They were a moth and a flame. But their history kept them at arm's length when it came to the reality of their feelings for one another. It was endearing the first time they denied their emotions but after about the 10th time, I lost interest. Dom and Val just seemed to be stuck in this vicious cycle of denial and hurting one another. Even a drunken marriage in Vegas couldn't save them from their self destructive behavior. It seemed like the entire read they were both fighting what was right in front of their faces. Their friends and family saw it plain as day and wanted to smack them both in the back of the head for being so blind.

I enjoyed the book. I loved the steamy romance. I liked the slow burn to a point. I adored the Italian family butting in and providing unnecessary commentary but also loving support. But there was just something missing. It seemed like the same scenario kept repeating over and over and brought nothing new to the story. The ending was satisfying and made me feel good about sticking with the read and finishing it. I rated Wild Steamy Hook-Up 4 stars because it had it's moments of amazingness but overall was lacking something to keep me vested and craving more from Dom and Val. The potential for explosives were there but fizzled out.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author or their PR company.
