I was not enjoying this book until about the 30% point. It was just...boring? And the characters were so typical that they didn't interest me. The first half of the book goes between narrative and investigation interviews. But once you realize the plot, jokes, characters are meant to be over the top and satirical, it's enjoyable. I found myself invested in the mystery.

DNF at roughly 30% on audiobook. I don’t think it would have made a difference by having the physical book. It was hard to differentiate between the 3 main characters at times. It also made such a point to make us aware that the one was pretty much a sex addict. We’re don’t need a detailed account of all the research she’s done or the experience she has. Overall the story didn’t grab my interest.
