This book feels a little bit like a mix of Harry Potter and Charmed to me, but despite that I actually found myself quite enjoying the book. There’s a little bit of “the chosen one” vibes beginning to start, but I enjoyed the side characters and am curious to see how some of the rivalries are going to play out! Overall, I would say it was a solid, though not overly original, YA fantasy read!

I loved this book. The heroine is fun and adorable. I also enjoyed her friends and the banter she has with the men in the story. It's well worth the read if you're looking for some light reading in the fantasy genre.

Changeling was a really fun and cute read. I've enjoyed Molly Harper's previous books and was excited to check out her venture into the young adult genre. I had a blast reading it! It's a fairly quick read that kept my attention the whole way through.

Sarah/Cassandra was a great character. Her whole life is turned upside down when it's discovered that she has magic. She goes through a lot in the process – some good, some bad, but her attitude and resolve remained steady and I admired her strength through it all.

The world building and magic system was interesting. I've seen Changeling compared to Harry Potter multiple times and while I can kinda see the similarities, it's definitely it's own story and is different in a lot of ways. It's a really great read that I believe young adults and grown ups alike will enjoy. I'm really excited to find out what happens in the sequel!

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and comments are my honest opinion.

I didn't like Sarah/Cassandra at first. Her lack of confidence was giving an itch to drop this book. She redeemed herself quite quickly throughout the book and the story took an interesting turn, pulling me in wanting to know more. My first impression of her was wrong, she doesn't hesitate when it comes to protecting her loved ones, she makes quick decisions on the moment and she stands her ground for what she believes in. Beside that, he story itself is light and easily to enjoy.

I quite enjoyed this. It’s kind of like Harry Potter, but with female characters at the center, which I greatly appreciated.

Excellent fun, and less fluff than I was expecting in a lot of regards.
