This was exactly what I needed when I picked it up - a sweet and fun read!

Noah and August were really sweet and a little clueless about each other, and it made for an entertaining read. I liked seeing how they built a relationship from their friendship, and while they were definitely total goofballs at time, it was clear how much they both meant to each other.

I have to admit the story felt a little OTT at times, but I still enjoyed it and I don't think anything less would have suited these two characters. It was sweet how they'd been friends for so long without realising how they really felt for each other, while everyone else around them figured it out a long time ago. I liked the proposal bit where August kept trying to convince Noah that his feelings were real, I think they both needed the time to process in their own way and connect as a couple.

I had a lot of fun reading Oblivious, the banter was great and while the pranks seemed a bit immature, I felt like it fit the characters and their history together. It was overall a sweet story with low angst, and I enjoyed the "idiots in love" theme and their lighthearted romance.

I absolutely adore books that are both make-my-heart-melt sweet and make-my-panties-wet steamy. Oblivious hit the spot on both accounts and I'm giving extra props to Leslie because the title was so spot on.

Gosh, I think we need to come up with a word for “way more blind than any sane person“… oblivious might not be enough to describe these two sweet idiots. And I say that in the most loving way! If you’ve read Leslie’s previous books in this fantastic series, you’ve already met Noah and August. I cannot even tell you how much I enjoyed their story with all the pranks, sweet moments, deep emotions, pining, cute nicknames, and steamy scenes.
Noah and August are the closest friends, they are literally spending their entire life together. The guys have been inseparable since childhood, opened their law firm together that specializes in LGBTQIA+ rights, and live so close to each other that they usually only use one of their apartments. They also spend most of their free time together, working out or going out. They know each other on a soulmate level, yet neither of them thinks they could ever work out as a couple. It is comical to see how ignorant they are when everyone around them assumes they are the perfect match! Can you say office pool? All they need is just a little push … so when the dare kiss finally lets them get physical, it is explosive. Their chemistry is off the chart … so is their mutual freak-out. I loved how they couldn’t stay away from each other, how they challenged each other constantly (their long-running GIF dare is the funniest thing ever), and how they encouraged one another to get out of their comfort zone, to better themselves. I loved their jealously, too, because there were heaps of that as well even if these dummies didn’t realize it. It was a joy to see how their relationship evolved and their unique HEA was just the most romantic proposal(s) ever!
