Umm just as, or even more erotica, than the first one, but here I knew more of what to expect. Gotta admit this kind of erotica is not as much my kind of read, I prefer the more romance focus stuff, but this is well written and you do get a sense of the bond between Christoffer and Adam and how they possibly fall in love. Don't think I understood that this was set in Sweden in the last book, so that's nice.

I am typically not a fan of novellas or erotica because neither of them has enough story or character development for my liking but Roe Horvat again has surprised me with how much of both he can pack into an erotic novella. The writing is very good just as it has been in the other books I’ve read by him.

This is Adam and Christoffer’s origin story and can be read as a standalone. Both men have vulnerabilities and insecurities not shown in book one. The time they spend together is quite magical and I loved seeing the development of their relationship. While their relationship does progress quickly it does so organically and is believable. I was surprised by the complexity of each character and how they worked together. I re-read their scenes form book one…if you haven’t read book one yet, it actually happens after this book chronologically so that works in your favor.

This is an absolute thumbs up from me and I’m looking forward to reading much more from this author.

Roe Horvat has proved he knows his way around erotic romance, not once but twice now, and this time he throws in just a smidge of dominance and submission to up the sizzle factor. Adam and Christoffer were introduced in The Other Book, which technically makes this a prequel, as it’s their origin story, but it can be read in any order or as a standalone. I wasn’t sure I needed a book about this couple, to be honest, but now that I’ve read Adam Only, I’m glad it exists.

Christoffer and Adam are physical opposites: Christoffer is the brawny bear with a soft, squishy center, and Adam is the lithe and lovely dancer who is fifteen years younger than the man who caught Adam’s eye at a party. Subsequently, Christoffer spends the weekend blowing Adam’s mind with hours of the kind of sex Adam craves, but as these things often go when the attraction is immediate, the sex is scorching, and the chemistry is undeniable, the lack of anything resembling trust means the weekend doesn’t end with their happily ever after.

It ends when Adam sneaks out on Monday morning, under cover of darkness, sure that he’s been nothing more to Christoffer than a disposable, probably forgettable, certainly unworthy, bit of tail. Because Adam’s history with relationships is not a kind one, and his backstory is one that’s all-too familiar.

Horvat does again what he did so well in The Other Book. Where these books obviously rely on their erotic scenes to entice in a voyeuristic way, he also manages to build an emotional connection between characters and his readers. While sex and sexual chemistry is integral to the relationship, Adam and Christoffer each develop into individuals who are likeable and loveable too, and Horvat made me believe they fit together in the way people who are complete opposites can complement each other’s differences. That’s not easy to accomplish in a book this short, but he pulls it off without question.

I liked this but didn't love it. I am not sure why. It was well written but I wasn't as emotionally invested in the characters as I expected to be.
Great author and good to read some MM that is not set in US or UK.

Sugary, erotic fairytale. It was a little too pink (or dreamy) for me (that was my problem with the first book too), but I actually believed the instalove. Lots and lots of yummy sex. The story plays out over 2 weeks, and Christoffer and Adam can't keep their hands, mouths and dicks to themselves. There wasn't much plot.
Ballet played very little part of the story unfortunately.
But I enjoyed it.

I rather liked Christoffer and Adam in The Other Book, but I love them now. There’s such a powerful, emotional bond between these two men. It was just incredible to read.
This is an erotic novella, a short and very steamy read, yet the author still managed to give us an amazing couple with a love that feels epic.
I was completely enchanted by the lyrical writing, so expressive and romantic, and utterly convinced by the great love that so suddenly sprang up between Christoffer and Adam.

I really enjoyed this story.

Holy smut, once again. Although, I knew it was coming this time. And wow, how phenomenally written it was. Can I just say how perfectly matched C and Adam are both sexually and romantically?

Can I also say how amazing C is????? The sweetest, kindest, most gentle (with the largest penis and he knew how to use it) bear in the world. Just the perfect man for Adam. While dealing with tougher emotions, the book still managed to be super romantic and fluffy and cute.

I was sad to sort of hate Tyler in this book, but it was nice to see how much he'd grown in the three years that had past between the first two books.

Gonna save [b:One in Between|49653024|One in Between|Roe Horvat|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1563055373l/49653024._SX50_SY75_.jpg|71906216] for when I'm really in the mood, Goodness knows how that one is gonna go. Though it is significantly shorter.

Definitely a new favorite author.

IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK ON MY NEW RATING AND REVIEW SYSTEM. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD ADD, CHANGE OR REMOVE TO IMPROVE IT? PLEASE AND THANK YOU, LOVELY READERS.

**Level of Smut is referring to how to tame vs explicit it is, which is why I went with this rating system. THIS IS NOT A RATING ON HOW MUCH I LIKED THE SMUT. Kissing and/or making out does not count as smut. Also, when I say ‘sex scene’, if someone has an orgasm, I’m considering it a sex scene; no matter how they get there. G (Score of 1) - No smut PG (2) - 1 sex scene books PG- 13 (3) - 2 sex scene books
R (4)- Your standard 3 sex scene book. These generally aren’t as long of sex scenes or as descriptive.
X-Rated (5) - all the good stuff is in here, baby, and a hell of a lot of it. This would also mean that the story is extremely descriptive, as well.

*** Quality of Smut is referring to how well the smut is written, according to my tastes. I have certain words and kinks, etc, that I am not a fan of and will automatically drop it down if I see it. That may not be the same case for you. I’ll try to include my reasoning if there’s anything specific. (A+ = 5 - E = 1)

**** Did it Make Me Sweat ;) ? Tbh, did it turn me on? Did I want to read more and more sex scenes (The answer is almost always yes)? This is different from quality because of the simple fact that the smut doesn’t ALWAYS have to be A+ quality to make me sweat… or does it??? I guess we’ll see.
