This book is equal parts adorable romance and exciting adventures. A great cozy romance—one that I’m sad to be done with without a doubt.

Cute story, it took some time to unfold. I could not really relate to the parts about fandom, since I’m not into fanfiction or anything. But I could definitely relate to being queer and the struggle that can come with it. Especially near the end, it made me smile a lot and even cry a little. It all came together very nicely!

this was such a nice read!! i love the diversity of the characters and i love how there were a few plots to follow throughout the book that wrapped up really nicely in the end! i also just loved the inclusion of love shared between tumblr mutuals - it really is its own thing.

only thing that brought down my rating was i didn’t love some of the similes and it broke my flow while reading a little. i think there was also room to extend some storylines because there were some parts that felt a little rushed - nothing out of the ordinary for a debut novel.

otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed it!

This book is more about self discovery, acceptance, growth and I honestly think it’s bloody well written.

I started this book with no expectations, I wanted to read this with an empty slate and I’m so glad I did. For those who prefer romantic scenes, unfortunately, I have to inform you that the romance between the main love interest isn’t the main focus here.

It’s more of the journey of getting there, and the other aspects of life that joined in while that was happening. Truth be told, this book got me rather emotional because certain parts just reminded me too much of my own family, but to see growth from that kind of struggle is so, so heartwarming— even if the growth is not as big as you’d like it be.

100% recommend it to anyone who simply wants to witness the journey of a teen, and how she learn to embraced herself, her family flaws & her own confusion.

I absolutely adored this book. The writing style was perfect for me, every single one of the characters was likeable and it explores so many different themes. It’s also incredibly diverse which is a huge plus for me!
Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone, though especially those who are craving a completely wholesome queer love story!
