Tropes- heroine doesn’t know what she is
Callum, the king of werewolves, found his mate when she was just little girl. He has watched over her from afar as she grew up, but he felt no real desire to claim her. That is until the day her safety is threatened, and he has to come to her rescue. Now Callum is thrilled to have Sonia by his side, but since Sonia is human, she has no knowledge of his world. Bringing her into it, especially while he is fighting a war, is going to be tricky.
Kristen Ashley’s heroes are hard to love. She write alpha assholes that fall in love hard. Somehow, though, her men don’t live up to other similar heroes, like Barrons (Fever) and Ryder (Fae Chronicles). Interestingly, we get more insights into the thoughts of Ashley’s heroes than Barrons and Ryder, so their jerkish behavior is easier to justify, but they still have a harder time tipping our scale from hate to love. Callum’s lack of consideration for Sonia is clearly shown to be a difference in cultures and distractions from his role as king, but it was still a challenge to like him. Eventually, though, he gets out of his own way and won over both me and Sonia. This is largely because he learned from his mistakes. By the end of the book, I was rooting hard for both him and their relationship.
With Everything I Am continues to build the series tension. The first book in the series introduced us to the world of vampires and the prophecies. This book shows us the werewolf kingdom and leaves us with a sense of impending danger. It is this series plot of a supernatural war that drives me to continue reading.

This is the second of three books and although they are all individual couples in each story, all three books are linked and would be best read in order. They are all involved in fighting a common cause and they need all three couples to win the battle so each book is about how each couple get together.
This story is Callum and Sonia. He is a werewolf and she has been raised ignorant of their world although she has a connection with him and has done since a child but she doesn't understand it.
KA writes about their growing relationship but has an uncanny understanding of male/female interaction, yes you have the usual KA female resistant to the hero's advances but it is hilarious in parts and at times extremely touching.
Callum is your usual arrogant super alpha who thinks this 'claiming' business will be easily sorted and he can get on with his job as King as soon as its done and Sonia can do her job by 'supporting' him.
The scene in the cabin which is their first real interaction as adults together is hilarious as she thinks he is a good looking lunatic who is delusional. There is lots of touching moments between Sonia and Callum's mother and KA as usual provides a supportive group of friends and family.
It has a fantasy element but this does not spoil the fantastic love story between Callum and Sonia.
Happy for now ending but enemy threat runs through series is concluded in next book.
Previous couple appear briefly. Plot spoilers from book 1 as their story is referred to on a couple of occasions.

Wow, this was just something else and not in a good way.
I had to drag myself through this because I wanted to finish the series so badly and I truly feel I deserve a prize for reaching the finish line.

I absolutely adored the first book [b:Until the Sun Falls from the Sky|13453301|Until the Sun Falls from the Sky (The Three, #1)|Kristen Ashley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1329757719l/13453301._SX50_.jpg|18979800], I've re-read this more times than I can count, I would lay my life down for the og The Three couple. I had SUCH high hopes for book two, I've always been partial to a cheeky werewolf. But honestly it was simply a chore to read.
Don't get me wrong, I really did try to like them both, and do prefer their interactions in book three [b:Wild and Free|17346804|Wild and Free (The Three, #3)|Kristen Ashley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1413561040l/17346804._SX50_.jpg|42705766] which ironically (contrary to popular reviews, I much preferred). I feel like there was a real lack in emotional intimacy that I just couldn't quite read past. To me this felt like a filler book; books one and three were enjoyable and actually did something to move the plot along. Harsh, I know, but I was just so disappointed with this in comparison to the rest of the series. I feel that had it been a standalone book I read completely unattached to the series, perhaps I would have enjoyed it more (though I doubt it).

My biggest issue with this book is Sonia's passive ass. While Callum's character growth in terms of relationship communication, appreciation and open mindedness was interesting to follow, I just feel that Sonia got left behind in the development department. What's with her immediate submission? Hello? Sonia you aren't even (at bare minimum) going to sulk or voice your opinions? And don't get me started on her supposed "tantrum" or her "raging" at Callum once they're in Scotland. I've had more heated arguments with a wall. And while, when done tastefully, sexual intervention during arguments can admittedly be a steamy scene, here it was just blatantly dismissive and cruel in the way he uses Sonia's body against her mind. I just felt like I was reading about a ragingly hormonal (383 year old) teenage boy meets plain, submissive, emotionally repressed annoying (37 year old) teenage girl.Don't get me wrong, I really did try to like them both, and do prefer their interactions in book three [b:Wild and Free|17346804|Wild and Free (The Three, #3)|Kristen Ashley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1413561040l/17346804._SX50_.jpg|42705766] which ironically (contrary to popular reviews, I much preferred). OK so I really love to read I always have my kindle in my hand or right there in reaching distance. I have to love the books I read or I don't even finish them that being said Kristen Ashley is one of the most amazing authors I have ever read. She pulls you right into the story her characters are the best I laugh I cry I yell I feel everything there is to feel because she is one of the best. This book was phenomenal from start to finish and I'm really hoping she writes books about all the secondary characters
Whew, it took me quite some time to get through this one! It was a pretty good story, I enjoyed the narrator, but I don't think that this one is going to be one that I revisit. I am looking forward to eventually getting to book 3. Full review to come.
WITH EVERYTHING I AM is book two in The Three series. This is a suspenseful, paranormal romance with a wolf king and his human queen. This story's centered around Callum and Sonia, the second couple of the prophesied "Three" and so the series should be read in order (and I just plowed through one after another!)
Callum and Sonia were "destined" to be together, though it's hard to tell in the beginning since it seems they're so completely different! Callum is the king of wolves and Sonia is a very special human who has no clue that supernatural beings exist. This series just keeps getting better! I mentioned in my review of book one how much I loved this plot but it's worth mentioning again! The world that Kristen Ashley built is simply FANTASTIC, utterly captivating and exciting.
Callum is probably one if my most favorite of KA's heroes. He was sigh worthy, sexy, strong, protective...a total bad ass! I actually felt almost sorry for poor Sonia. It seems she spent her whole life being manipulated even though it was for her own safety. But she was the soft that Callum needed to smooth out his rough parts and I loved watching them come together!
There's a more suspenseful feel to this book as more is being revealed about the prophecy. The twists and turns had me turning page after page. But, WOW, the last few chapters is why I adored this book! I cried and then swooned and was in awe of where the story took me. This is why this series will be on my READ AGAIN E-SHELF! Told from dual POVs with a happy for now ending for Callum and Sonia (but with a crazy teaser for book three!)

I really enjoyed Callum and Sonia. The beginning of the book has a little heartbreak, which I like, because then it makes their happy that much sweeter. I thought it was completely obvious that Sonia was a wolf the entire novel and that it was extremely stupid of Callum not to realize, but other than that, it was great!
