A bit capitalist, the author seems to have edited each lesson to be more relevant to office culture which :// a good introduction tho!

Title: Zen: The Art of Simple Living
Author: Shunmyo Masuno
Genre: Self-help
Pages:223 pages

Do you want to enliven your life with a simple, productive, and content mindset? Then this book is for you.
The author of this book Shunmyo Masuno is the head priest of a 450-year-old Zen Buddhist temple in Japan. He enlightens us that how subtle changes in habits and slight changes in perspective can make it possible to savor the extraordinary life. It is an appropriate piece of writing 100 ways to be identified by readers and ennoble their minds.
The book consists of four parts divided into 30, 30, 20, and 20 respectively as:
PART ONE: 30 Ways to Energize Your ' present self '
PART TWO: 30 Ways to Inspire Confidence and Courage for Living
PART THREE: 20 Ways to Alleviate Confusion and Worry
PART FOUR: 20 Ways to Make Any Day The Best Day
Book has been delivered with hard-cover binding and thick pages.
Every lesson illustrates moral and spiritual ways to make the most of the life we are entrusted with. You will learn how to exhale deeply to eliminate negativity, to arrange your desk and house to clear your thinking and so much more. With help of Zen parables and Buddha teachings, the author shares his wisdom for living the life of Ichigo ichie (make most of the present moment ) and simplicity.
It was a slow read though this book has had enough of my interest. This book is not a ' page-turner ' as there's no link between lessons. I would recommend this book to readers who are interested in a life of simplicity.
I would give this book a rating of 3.5⭐️ out of 5 ⭐️
