Another enjoyable romp, even if I did want to stab a few of the antogonists

After reading the second book in this series and how that one ended I had to immediately pick up this one. I cannot sing enough praises about this series and I know these reviews are very bias but frankly I do not care because I have found a Niche in reading that I never knew I would love as much as I do and This series is the one that showed me into this Niche of books. This is the middle book in the series which can be dull at times but this is far from it. I love how each book connected but takes you on a completely different adventure. I loved the revelations about the vampires wanting her dead and also about Alexia and her child. I felt for each of the characters at different points in this book just wanting to give them all big hugs including Channing which surprised me. I also would not mind some mechanical lady bugs for myself! I will admit some of the new characters in this book did not have very clear voices so I kept getting confused on who was doing what. I also can see how if you are not in love with this book series this one may bore you because even though they are different adventures I could begin to see the series pattern which I am not complaining about myself but I am aware that this may be the book that people will fall off the series. Sadly I have to wait for my library to have the next book in the series before I can continue it so I hope I do not have to wait too long because I want to know how everything plays out.

Another entertaining novel about Alexia Tarabotti. This time she is on the run from the vampires, who try to kill her, while at the same time trying to prove to her husband that the baby is his. Her quest leads her to Italy and into the arms of the Templars.

REading this novel was a pleasure as well as exhausting in times. I don't like the favorite storyline of causing trouble in the established relationship that took a whole book to form. Nevertheless Alexias flight was peppered with action and the usual humor. She encountered more scientist all interested in studying her, but also revealing more of her state.

Unexpected things happen all throughout the book (as well as expected ones. The only thing I can't get used to is Madame Lefoux. I really don't like her and she already got on my nerves in Changeless with her flirtations, which are continuing in Blameless.

Great read! Flew through it, can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

I didn't like this book as much as the other two books in the series. The relationship between Lord and Lady Maccon is a big appeal factor for me and they spent the majority of the book apart, which is probably why I didn't like this installment as much. However, it's still witty and adventurous and fun, so I will definitely be looking for the next book when it comes out this summer!

I think this book is my favorite in the series so far. While I enjoyed the first two books, they weren't my favorite Gail Carriger has written. This book steps up the drama and intrigue. After the ending of the previous book, chaos breaks out both at home and abroad, in ways that I definitely couldn't have predicted. This chaos combined with the ridiculousness of the characters trying to be "proper" no matter the situation and the quest to determine what the infant inconvenience might be make this a fun, funny, and fast-paced read.
