Yes, it is good as everybody says. I don’t usually read hyped books, but glad i read this one. Dark, poignant, and at times disturbing, but also, reaffirms the power of relationships and friendships.

i honestly have no words other than this is the most devastating, heartbreaking, beautiful book I’ve ever read. truly believe this book will make me see others and the world differently. not for the faint of heart but definitely worth the read if you’re up for it. I will be thinking about the characters of this book for long after reading as if they are long lost friends

I can’t give this book a rating- at least not yet. But I do not recommend it to anyone.

The second I started this book I was desperate to finish it. There are moments so excruciating and twisted it made me feel I’ll. And while this has got to be one of the best written books I’ve read in a while, there still are moments that feel too far fetched and out of character I found myself re-reading pages at a time so see if I missed that it’s an imaginary dream sequence.

Again, I love the way this is written with constantly changing perspectives. I also absolutely adore some of the characters and how honest they are. When something good finally happened I found it incredibly hard to keep reading because I knew the relief was short lived. I will miss those tiny happy moments and the characters I feel like I know. It’s difficult to part with them.

This book will haunt me.

A book that is ostensibly about 4 college friends as they grow up and older facing life's challenges....but it's truly about one them. His early life is remarkably trying and horrific, and he struggles to cope with his history for the rest of his life.

This is the first novel to make me cry since A Prayer for Owen Meany; the novelist may take that as a compliment....not many novels move me to that extent.

idk…devastating…love it bc i hate it

sorry not sorry oczekiwałem czegoś więcej i guess
