4.23 AVERAGE

4.5. I loved the character development that the main characters went through and that they got to enjoy at least part of their school year and studies. Everyone was in the same area and there was so πŸ‘πŸ½ much πŸ‘πŸ½ drama πŸ‘πŸ½that I loved. It was interesting knowing more about the magic involved in this world as well.

The story started a bit slow, and I wish characters like Dancer and Amon had a bit more on page development.

I have no words about this one.Just that it's amazing and I am looking forward to more Han! :)

Diving into Gray Wolf Throne right now!!

Classic YA shenanigans.

Whilst I found The Exiled Queen harder to get into than The Demon King, I still enjoyed it very very much. The beginning was a bit slow, but once our main characters arrive at Oden's Ford, the story starts to get more interesting.

I think both our main characters, Han and Raisa, are utterly brilliant. Both so different yet also in ways exactly the same. In The Exiled Queen, they both experience a lot (no spoilers) and it's interesting to see how they change as people. We got more of Han's POV in this sequel but that made sense for the story.

I was planning to read a different book between this and book three in the series, but after finishing The Exiled Queen... I simply HAVE to read on! This series will probably become a new all-time favourite.

Nothing better than falling in love with a series when all books are already published and in your hands.

Perfect. It was perfect. I love Han so freaking much, oh my goodness. I shipped Amon and Rai, but then Han and Rai are so cute I just ahhhh

4.5

Even better than the previous book!

Once again, the action switches perspective between Raisa and Han, with some interesting overlaps of characters and plotlines. There's a bit of a Harry Potter feel during parts as the story takes some of the characters to magic school (though here it's more like high school/college as the kids are in their late teens when they start). And of course, the politics and intrigue continue and get even more complicated. By the end, there are even more questions that need answering, making me look forward to the next installment!

This book made me have feelings all over the place. The first 200 pages were just a drag. I didn't really care for all the travelling and not really anything happening. But when they arrived at Oden's Ford I found myself being really engaged. I just love school settings and I kinda made me miss school. The ending had me shook at some parts, but was not as explosive as I'd hoped.

Raisa is still the best! I just love a princess who actually wants to know what's going on in the world and make changes for the better. She is just such a strong character and I love her. Han really grew on me in this book. The first book he was just okay to me, but this book made me like him a lot more.

Han is such an interesting character! I'm enjoying getting to know him and his background more in this installment of the series. Can't wait to see where things go from here!
