I’m a little disappointed with this book after reading “Broken Pieces”.
One major problem I had was the editing, or rather the LACK OF editing. All those grammatical errors were so distracting.
I also thought their relationship at the beginning was rushed/glazed over as if them having history—that we barely got—made up their easy chemistry. It was almost lazy writing on that part. The word for this book that continues to come up is lacking. This book just lacked a lot of things. But be sure that there is no lack of winks (like do people actually wink these days).
However, I liked how realistic and lengthy Coopers feelings/thoughts were when questioning his sexuality. Many mlm stories I’ve read with similar aspects had the character quickly accept their new sexual awakening without the doubts and surprise.
Overall I still enjoyed the book.

Collide is the story of two childhood friends who reunite after being seperated for years. It features a gay for you plot as well as dealing with elements of homophobia. i liked the characters slow realisation of their feelings for each other beyond the physical. Some interesting secondary characters too. Will be interested in seeing how the secondary romance plays out in the next book.

4.5 - I really did love Noah and Cooper! The slurs and homophobia in the book definitely made for a more stressful and sad reading experience. That layered with the fact there were some truths that didn't come to light until the end, made it even more dramatic.

Noah and Cooper had to work for their HEA! Cooper had never been attracted to another man before Noah and he wasn't sure how to handle it. He struggled in so many ways and did hurt Noah in the process. While it was intentional his actions (or lack thereof) did have consequences they both had to face.

Noah came back to Blackcreek without much of anything. He had just gotten out of a dead end relationship and was kind of nursing some wounds. I don't think he anticipated falling for Coop in any way but that's what happened. He was very respectful of Coop but only to a point. Coop kept coming to him and Noah was honest about his feelings.

I did want to strangle Coop periodically. He was still dealing with survivors' guilt and felt like he had a debt he owed to his aunt and uncle for taking him in when he lost his parents. Unfortunately that loyalty caused a rift with Noah.

When Coop and Noah were good, they were so good! This was a slow burn and was worth the wait! These two had been best friends when they were young and were torn apart for reasons they didn't understand. It was great to have them reconnect in so many ways and give each other the love and support they both desperately needed.

Liked this one a whole lot. It's very GFY, but I'm into that, so it works for me. Noah and Cooper were a really good pairing and I would've loved to see this series continue on with them instead of switching to another couple, but alas.

A short and sweet MM with lots of sexy smut and good plot. I would recommend this to any reader who enjoys a smutty MM :)

It's looking like Riley Hart is going on my author autobuy list. This is my second book by her and I loved it. Noah and Cooper were perfect for each other and also so hot together. I loved reading about them and now I'm ready to read the second book in the series.
