YAS KHLOE. SO GOOD

It's an easy-to-read book that basically tells you things you already know: find a fitness routine that you like, eat wholesome foods, and take time for mental health. If you like Khloe, then I think you'll enjoy this book, but you're not going to walk away feeling like you've learned something earth-shattering and mind-blowing.

I really liked this book. I'm not a fan of the Kardashians in general, but I thought this book was very well written and I loved hearing her advice. Nothing bothered me about this book and I highly recommend it even if you don't like their show (or them). When I started reading this I didn't really know anything about Khloe, besides that she was married to Lamar since that's all I manage to hear about since I don't watch their show. I was pleasantly surprised by this book.

super easy read. just meh. its easy to say all of these things when you have money and people to do everything for you.

This book is a good effort but ultimately, one to skip...

There is a lot of common sense advice and a lot of anecdotes and advice from unverified sources.

I liked the last two chapters - 'Make the Best of Everything' and Be Mindful' - but the information isn't anything that you can't get from another more substantive self-help book.

A decent book which is a good combination of biography and self help book.
hopeful informative inspiring slow-paced

First I will admit that I was not expecting this book to be an award winner. I'm not a huge fan of the Kardashians but I can tolerate them and have even been known to sometimes binge watch some of their shows on E. Ok.... Now that we have that out of the way.

Strong Looks Better Naked is a great title and I guess a great way to get more readers. One of the things the Kardashians are really good at is marketing and this book is yet another example of what great marketing can do for you.

The books is not horrible, I will even venture to say that that it's a good summer read. It's fast moving and if you like to dabble in celebrity lifestyles, this book will inadvertently provide you with a little bit of a fix. Be advised that if you are expecting this to be gossip filled you will be disappointed. It looked to me that Khloe was really looking to be helpful and, although nothing in her stories was earth shattering news --- you know the typical "love yourself," "put yourself first".... --- hopefully if reading these no so new aid-bits helps you then she has achieved what she set out to achieve and in the process kept her fame and you interested.

I liked the pictures and honestly she looks amazing. There are pictures throughout the book of her before and after. The difference is amazing and if nothing else she has earned the right to brag a little about that. It takes a whole lot of self discipline to make those kinds of changes so I will give her that.

So, enough of my rambling. I would not recommend this book to everyone but someone who enjoys the celebrity type of lifestyle and wants to read about it, or a younger generation who is growing up with Kardashians. I would say that if you can find it at your library (where i got my copy from) go that route first. I don't believe it's worth spending the money as it is not the type of book would clutter my bookshelves with.

I hope this review is somewhat helpful.

Hm..... well what exactly was I expecting? Maybe it's because I've read one fantastic book written by a reality-TV alum Holly Madison (Down the Rabbit Hole) recently that I was hoping this would be a lot better than it actually was. I happen to love Khloe Kardashian and think she looks amazing after committing to fitness and healthy eating, this was the only real motivation for reading the book and it is these chapters at the beginning that were the most interesting.

It's interesting to get an insight into what her workout and diet is, but this makes up the first half of the book and the second half just drags with the most basic, tween-style advice such as "don't let negative energy get you down" sort of advice - very basic. Frankly this could have been a pamphlet rather than a book, it was obvious the publishers were trying to pad it out towards the end.

Another thing that irked me was a short essay from her 'dietician' (not sure what he's real qualifications are) who talks about dairy like its the devil incarnate and claims there is not one scrap of nutrition from dairy (wonder why the Mediterraneans have been eating full fat dairy for centuries and have one of the healthiest diets on the planet then?) - then Khloe shows her 'Day on a Plate' which includes Greek YOGHURT with berries for dessert. So dairy isn't good for you, but yoghurt is what you typical eat every day??

dunno why i read this book, except for the fact that khloe is my favorite kardashian, and that her body transformation is pretty impressive. i got bored by the middle of the book and didn't learn a thing. i think it's one of those books that tells you things that you already know, but that you sometimes need to hear (or in this case, read) again. it wasn't bad, but it's nothing revolutionary.
