I listened to the audiobook for this one over a couple of days. The plot isn't anything unique and is similar to other books with a domestic abuse based plot. Obviously check trigger warnings for this one before reading because the content is confronting.  Ovwrally, it is fine .I didn't hate it, I didn't love it.

This is a dark psychological thriller about a girl who is learning that the man she loves is a psychopath. The petty games the main character initially plays as well as the thrown in secondary romance is flat and seemed to move at the speed of light. There was also little nuance to the characters. It kept me reading because I really didn’t like the villain and I wanted to see him get his comeuppance and it did have some tension build up. But some of the plot points needed to be flushed out more.

A good thriller, nothing special, but enjoyable - felt like it went by super quick.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

I started this book at the recommendation that it is similar to Gone girl and girl on a train but it didn’t have much depth for me and I was pretty bored with it.

A fast-paced thriller that drives you quickly towards the end. Predictable ending with some questionable twists but overall an easy,  enticing  read. Characters were a bit bland and frustrating but the story itself was entertaining enough.

Can I give this more than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? This is the debut novel from Pip Drysdale...wow! I am a fan and can't wait to see what she has in store for us next. Do yourself a favour and pick up this book...you will not regret it, although you may lose sleep as it is very hard to put down. A brilliant read from a bright new star.

Some affairs change you forever. This is a story of an angry and hurt woman Taylor, whose now ex-boyfriend Angus has posted a sex tape of her online for the whole world to see. Taylor's is mortified, and then discovers that Angus has taken another woman on their ski trip. This is the final straw acorn Taylor who starts to plot her revenge.... but once she starts she just can't stop and things begin to spiral out of control. You will feel the need to keep reading this to find out what happens next.

I can't praise this book enough.... all the stars and more! Thank you to Simon and Schuster Australia and NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book to read. All opinions are my own and are in no way biased
