Dylan and Jeanine were two people who fell madly in love and had everything they wanted. Then, the real story began. Dylan is traded from his California team to Ohio and uproots his wife and kids to make the move. Settling in their new reality takes it toll on everyone, but whereas Dylan is trying to be tough and keep it together, Jeanine is falling apart. Is Dylan willing to fight for his marriage and family at the risk of losing everything?

I actually really liked how this story tells the reality of after the novelty of fresh love wears off. Dylan is comfortable in his ignorance of how much his wife does to support him and their kids, and when she gives him a reality check, he gets the wake-up call he needed. I loved their dynamic of being twin flame partners, but also being parents, an athlete, an athlete' wife, and finding themselves starting from scratch with no support. Dylan and Janine show the truth to the happily ever after and the strength and commitment it takes to keep the romance alive while helping your family survive against all the challenges.

This book was really good and I absolutely loved reading it!!!
I really loved that it was about sustaining a marriage instead of a new relationship situation or friends with benefits situation. It's something you don't really get to read about.
It did hit me hard when it came to certain situations.
But I loved that it was so relatable and real.

ARC Review ✨️

♡Jeannie & Dylan♡

Dylan is a hockey player, and Jeannie is his beautiful wife. They have a beautiful life and family together. One day, that changes when they have to uproot themselves and move to a new area due to Dylan being placed on a new team. It ends up putting a lot of pressure on them and really challenges their relationship. Jeannie ends up feeling unappreciated and overwhelmed by the fast paced life style.

I'm not exaggerating when I say please read this book! I love how it showed their relationship now, and it also took us back to them in the past. It gave us a better sense of the struggles they face together. Unbreakable is a hockey romance, but it's so much more than that as well
It sheds light on the hard times of marriage as well as the good times. I loved how relatable Jeannie was and the story as a whole. Especially when it came to the mental health aspects. This story really shows the trials and tribulations of not only marriage but life itself. Grab some tissues and be prepared to shed a few tears while reading because this was filled with so much love and emotions😍🙌

Tropes:
💕Hockey romance
💕Marriage struggles
💕Second chance
💕Mental health rep

Thanks so much to the author and Sunny Babe PR for the ARC!

✨ Unbreakable by Dani Galliaro ✨
•eARC Review•

From the second Dani teased this beauty with a ghost face allusion and immediately talked about it being a romance about a married couple, I was sold.

I have the fortunate pleasure to start to beta read this beauty, but due to life circumstances, I was unable to finish. Those few weeks between when I stopped beta reading and when I was waiting on my eARC to come in were a challenge - side note: don’t accidentally read yourself into a cliffhanger-ish situation and then stop

I can only imagine how hard it is to write a romance novel about an already-married couple that is trying to find that spark again. When Dylan is traded from LA to Ohio, he, his wife Jeanine and their children upend their lives to start over in a new city. This is an emotional book with a mental health rep, rekindled romance and found family within the NHL players and WAGs. I really enjoyed watching this couple realize there was no one else they wanted more than each other. There are some delicious spicy bits too!

I received an ARC of this book and it was very good and so relatable! Seeing a marriage that isn’t so perfect, even one with a famous and rich hockey player hubby, as well as family struggles and mental health struggles, too, was definitely something that readers can connect with. Dylan and Jeanine had a lot of ups and downs and some traumatic experiences, but the lovely thing was that, in the end, they always wanted to be together, even if that didn’t look quite traditional. Their love was steamy and real and soul deep, but seeing the work and perseverance and effort was beautiful. It was really nice to read! And great lessons on self advocacy and healthy expectations!

Here’s a story about a couple who made sacrifices to see each other’s dreams come true. When Dylan gets traded to another team out East, he didn’t think Jeanine would go with it. But she did. And with that, came some changes they had to get used to. Dylan and Jeanine have been married for a while now, and throughout this book, they struggle to cope with the fact that the spark is not what it once was. Intimacy is a lot with a relationship, but this story shows that it’s more than what happens inside the bedroom that matters. The title is very fitting given when they met and how long they’ve managed to stay together. It’s a wonderful romance and one I didn’t expect since most of the ones I’ve read are when people meet for the first time. It’s nice to read something like this for a change for it really caught my interest being that way. I really enjoyed that there was a family dynamic and that they weren’t alone in this journey. They had a support group, although small, when they made the move. But, overall, this story felt real to me and that’s what drew me in most.

This is now one of my ✨favorite✨ marriage in crisis books. Dylan and Jeannie are so in love and even that can’t save them from the hardships of life. Romance books that can be soft and fluffy while also tackling deeper issues will never cease to amaze me 🙌🏼

I’m always down bad for a hockey romance and I looooved the team dynamics that Dylan is having to work through as the resident “new guy” on the Rusties.

Jeanine having a lot of the same issues trying to find her place in Ohio, dealing with her own demons, as well as a real gem of a mother in law.

I absolutely loved Unbreakable. D&J aren’t pulling any punches and their love is incredible 💛
