I read this in one sitting. No joke. This book was a nice ending to a favorite series. I'll miss not reading my favorite angel, but I'm so happy Georgina got the ending she did.
I enjoyed this last book in the Succubus Series. It was not as madcap as some of the earlier books, which I actually sort of missed, because the other immortals in Seattle are rather fun. But it did bring closure to the series in a fitting way, even though the surprise twist was not all that surprising.
A great end to the series. I enjoyed some of the characters so much, I wish the author would start a companion series so I could visit them again.
Ok, I said I wasn't going to read any more of Meads book but I still wanted to finish the series.
All the things that bothered me before (humhum Seth) are still here but now all is done, it's more bearable and get to give us a nice conclusion to the series.

Brilliant ending to the series. Amazingly good resolution and final revelation of the whole story. Very enjoyable!
Like I said I predicted the Seth thing a while ago but even though it was predictable the ride was still amazing. I really enjoyed the characters and this story.
Overall I enjoyed the Georgina Kincaid series, but the last book was certainly not the best. I would re-read a couple others in the series but the last one? I don't have to because it is so damn predictable when you've read the other books in the series. On top of that I felt it was rather sappy for a book about the minions of Hell. Yes there was eye-rolling and a not a tear to be shed in my house. The book was largely boring with about a hundred pages of interesting events. I still do not quite understand why on Earth Georgina insisted on working as an elf for an alcoholic Santa? Or why the hell there needed to be a bowling tournament? Can we say filler? This book left the series feeling too drawn out and it disappointed me as I had been looking forward to the finale. Where were the (unpredicted) twists I so craved? Also, Roman played a big part in this book but I felt like his character was devoid of what made him, well, Roman in the other books. Whenever he spoke or was spoken of it did not feel like Roman, it could have been any ol' character. Overall, I was disappointed but still a fan of the series minus this one book. One good thing about a poor finale is not regretting the series being over!
Not the most sophisticated series ever. I'd call it a guilty pleasure at best, but at least it did have a satisfying ending.
Four stars is probably way too high for the final book in a series where the ending was predictable from book one. And I'm not one to guess endings. But, weirdly, I had quite a lot of fun reading the Succubus books. As frustrating and hypocritical as the characters were, I was begrudgingly drawn to them.
I would've liked to find out more about Jerome and Carter though but I guess their combined mystique was all part of the grand plan.
The side characters were great for comic relief but it was a shame that only Hugh got the chance to show off his three-dimensional chops. Oh and Roman too, but his "transformation" was a bit too difficult to believe.
Georgina was vibrant and then bland and then annoying and then vibrant again, which, for me, made her seem more realistic and as contradictory as it sounds, consistent.
I usually prefer the alpha male and I was a little surprised at how much I enjoyed Seth's character. This last book felt a bit rushed and I think it would have been interesting if the big reveal had been explored more. For the majority of this series he was overshadowed by larger than life supernatural beings but still managed to have moments where his humanity won out.
I don't know much about Richelle Mead but I've heard/read a few opinions that don't paint her in the most flattering light. All I have to say is that I didn't like her treatment of adultery. It's not one of those things that is a hard limit for me but when used so regularly and flippantly it made me question whether or not this great romance was worth believing in. It ended up being quite difficult to buy what she was selling.

These books just make me happy. And they have such a great section of supporting characters that I adore. Even if the ending was predictable it was worth it to see their happy ending.
