The pictures are adorable, and I loved seeing some of our favorite picture book characters in this story, but the text didn't really flow well for me.
Fantastic art, but bizarre text in this picture book about a child embracing the library.
the pictures are everything
sad that the words were not

Lovely art & story, but this is clearly supposed to be a song and I didn’t know the tune so it seemed awkward when I read it aloud. There is music in the endpapers, just on me for not being able to read it.
Super cute book about the joy of going to the library and the adventures one can find there. And beautiful illustrations!
I give 5 stars to the cute and fun illustrations. The story is very sweet and lyrical and will have young children singing along. Great picture book for the young ones as it brings in a lot of traditional stories we all tend to read at that age. Excellent for teaching rhyme.
Really cute illustrations and fun to see the joy of visiting the library celebrated. The main refrain wasn’t my favorite, but it was still fun
we love picture books about how much kids love the library !!
This is a perfectly fine book about going to the library. I’m unfamiliar with the song.
I will agree with other readers who pointed out all the classics selected by the girl during her visit. If you are looking for a more diverse library selection in a picture book, read Dreamers by Yuyi Morales. The library visited by the mother and child in that book features a variety of diverse authors.
