Tashie Bhuiyan knows how to write an enthralling story from start to finish. This was my first novel from this author and I absolutely loved it.
Liana Sarkar was an endearing character. On the brink of adulthood, grieving the loss of her mother, and trying to find a way to get her dad to notice her, she really dug a hole for herself and others around her. But, her desire to help right her mistakes really won me over.
Skyler Moon was definitely a swoonworthy character. I was cheering for these two the whole time. Their bond made my heart so happy.
Each chapter title was a song title and artist, and there were so many playlists to explore. I think that is especially fun for those readers who enjoy listening to music while reading to create a vibe.

Music speaks to my heart and so does this book! Not only was music introduced at the start of every chapter, but the female MC, Liana, made it her mission to help out a local band because of a mistake she made early on (supporting her love for music and what it does for the soul throughout the entire story). This story had many themes, some making your heart ache and hoping for happy resolutions, but the friendship and love that was shown between the characters (the band members, the two MCs, and Evie) made my heart swell with admiration ❤️ I loved the found family trope and adored the Author’s Note in the beginning of this book, as finding friendships within shared interests and music is what has brought me joy the last handful of years. I couldn’t imagine life without my circle of friends and friendships made through music - to you all, 🫰💖🎶 Seriously, I enjoyed every moment of this book and if you love music and spot on playlists, pick up this gem!
