This girl. She ranted and slapped and raved and seethed and ran and yelled and was totally against the violence in her life! The IRONY. She yelled (completely out of control) about them not taking control of her life.
Well girl, someone needs to!

Javier and Ethan were sweet and hot, but she was just a hot, immature mess. I do wish this great plot could have been handled with a little more maturity on the heroines part.

This was a cute story with a yummy ménage. Naomi is a tough girl who does not want to be one. She insists she is a delicate freakin flower! She has grown up with a loving family of shifters who are constantly fighting and breaking everything. They get a little overly passionate lol! Based on this she believes that she wants a calm life where she can have pretty, fragile things that don't get broken. She assumes this must mean that she needs to date and marry a boring human. Things really shake up when finds that fate is giving her not one but two burly athletic shifter mates. She really wants to ignore her libido and keep these hot guys from loving and marking her.

It is a sweet funny story about finding out who you really are and learning to embrace all your qualities. It is also good not to judge a book by it's cover!

This was a great book! I loved all three of the main characters! The humor was great! The sex was hot! The only thing negative I can say is the identity of the bad guy was quite obvious. But it didn't detract from the reading enjoyment. Recommend to all paranormal menage romance lovers!

I was so in the mood to read something smexy and delicious. This book delivered on that 100%. I loved Naomi's character I thought it was hilarious that she was so feisty but yet so contained. It really brought something to the story that she just wanted a quiet home life where she could have nice things. I did feel bad for her at the beginning of the book when she gets hit in the face at the hockey game but of course then we got to meet Ethan and Javier. And oh my lord the deliciousness that flows from these two cannot be denied. Ethan is super sweet and protective and the description of a giant teddy bear is not wrong, it paints the most adorable picture and then he changes back and is super hot. Then we have Javier who is the ladies man but he's also vastly intelligent which takes Naomi by surprise. I loved it because Javier put together a good plan for winning Naomi's heart. I loved that it did end up working and it didn't hurt that there was actually a plot here.. Granted it was a little weaker than normal because this is primarily a romance novel but it was there. The only reason that it doesn't get 5 stars from me is because it felt a little bit abrupt at the end. There was an epilogue but I didn't feel like they were giving me anything other than what was expected in a romance novel and I would've liked to see something different.

Hmm, so i liked this and it was so funny at times but the two mates thing kinda put me off to be honest. Don't get me wrong, they were both great and I liked them, it's just not really my thing I guess.
My second reason for only giving two stars is the fact that although it's a fun read, there's not that much of a story. It's a lot of "I don't want them, but I want them" and a ton of "I'm so horny" which gets boring quickly. I also found the build up to the threat/foe in the book was practically nonexistent, and the actual encounter was over so quickly it removed some of the excitement that could have been there had it been a bigger part of the story.
I almost couldn't put it down while reading it because it was a lot of fun, but once I had, it took some convincing to make me pick it back up due to the simple story. All in all, fun read but I wouldn't recommend it.

Delicate Freakn’ Flower

Eve Langlais is one of my fave authors for a reason: I’ve yet to read a book of hers that I didn’t like. And this one was no different. It was pretty easy to fall into the plot and figuratively become a fly on the wall. I especially enjoyed the banter between Naomi, Javier and Ethan. Those three had me snickering through the whole book. Her family also brought out a few chuckles. I can imagine how wonderful but exasperating it could be to be surrounded by so many brothers you love and want to smack fire out of at the same time lol
A good start to the series. I’ll definitely be continuing this one.

I really should have written the review and marked this as read the first time I read it because I was more impressed with it then than now. This time I listened to the audiobook.

I like Naomi but sometimes her forceful reads as bratty and juvenile instead of strong and independent. And while I like Ethan and Javier their strong manly man sometimes reads as controlling and sexist. There's a general overtone between all the characters in this book that women need to be tamed and controlled by men and that they're incapable of protecting themselves and Naomi is oftentimes treated like a child that needs to be babysat rather than an adult women capable of making her own decisions and knowing her own wants and needs. I really loathe it when an adult female character is treated like a child by her male counterparts and don't in the slightest find it sexy. Two heads does not mean two brains.

The timeline is wonky first making it stretch and seem like Naomi is actually getting to know her mates and actually fall in love with them and then stating all of this happens over a few short days and again this didn't really work for me. Also maybe it was because I read this twice and remembered more details than I thought, but the mystery villain was fairly obvious from the first strike to me and I didn't like that catching him was more pointing the big strong men at the problem and having them save her than Naomi really saving or fighting for herself. It definitely added to the juvenile parts of her character and not in a good way.

That said I liked a lot of the banter and interplay between the leads and I adored how the men made an effort to be what she needed from a partner rather than just forcing thing their way. Of course I didn't like the assumption that they could take her choice and force things her way either.

Overall the story was okay. I mean there are definitely a lot of good parts, but there are just as many that grated on my nerves and honestly I liked these characters better in their supporting roles in Francince's story.
