I loved this...couldn't put it down, but it was worth the lack of sleep. My first time reading something by C.D. Reiss. Lots of sexy angst! Looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

I really enjoyed this quick read. It was concise and it flowed well. Thanks to a good friend of mine who recommended it, I was pleasantly surprised and I cannot wait to start the next one in the series.

This one was free on amazon, so I decided I would give it a try. It has enough depth and story to make it interesting, but still I would've preferred if there was a bit more. It is all about lust and no love so far. The size of this story was great, it was short enough to be a quick read and the ending was a semi-cliffhanger and while I wasn't that impressed with this book I am still curious about what will happened next. Also there are some hot sex scenes. This book leaves many questions still unanswered.

All in all it was a nice book for free, a bit too much focus on lust instead of love for me, but there are some hot sex scenes. I also liked there is some depth to the characters and the story.

Beg is a fairly meaty little start to a much longer story. There's some sexy times, there's a decent music-oriented plot. It's not a bad introduction to an interesting world.

Now, I'm reaching my limit for these hyper-controlling alpha men. Jonathan walks the line for me, and I think if I read more in the series, he'd probably drive me nuts. But this isn't a failing of the book, necessarily. He's got issues, he's sexy, and he's entirely appropriate for the sub-genre, so I can't *really* complain here. I can even admit that I'm a little curious about his hang-ups regarding his ex-wife and what impact those will have on the story with Monica - BUT I cringe at the thought of what some of those effects will be.

Monica is a sassy heroine, easy to root for, except for the part where she plays a little loose with her responsibilities to hook up with Jonathan. Still, I liked her, and I'm interested in *her* story.

Overall - a good start to an e-serial - just not sure I'm prepared to go on this journey.

imo a romance novella this short needs to commit to either plot or sexiness and not try too hard for both but this was still kinda wholesome

I swore to myself that I wasn't going to do these "serial" novellas anymore. But damn if this didn't hit the spot. I loved it.

Monica is a struggling musician when she meets Jonathan. Well it's not really a meeting more like dropping a pile of drinks in his lap and standing stunned with shame. What happens next will knock your socks off and make you want to get undressed..............
