Now I am in a serious book hang over.
Finn’s story is heartbreaking.
It was beyond my expectations.
Love can’t be wiped off easily especially when you love someone as much as Effy loves him.
This slow burn is a delightful surprise even if it burned me.

This book is the introduction to the Soldiers of Anarchy and Adam The psycho’s story.

Finn & Effy really are the definition of soulmates. I loved how this book had a love story that was different then I am used to. There was so much raw emotion between these two characters that you just had no choice to really feel what they were going through. This book is full of angst, spicy, passion & lots of excitement! There is always something going on that keeps you on your toes and anticipating the characters next move. The spice & steaminess between Finn & Effy was great! I really did enjoy this book & it was a great quick read for me, loved it!

Finn you sweet quiet lovable man, your story broke my heart. It stole my soul and made me cry for the things you endured and kept locked away, but I fell so hard in love with you and your heart. Reasons I love you: Your smile that is rare, the love you carried for Effy, how much you loved your new family and sister Alice, your quietness because while quiet everything was said through your amazing art, I could keep going on, but I’ll stop for now and get to my review. Love, a reader in love with you!

Ok now that is out of the way, holy crap my breathe was stolen from my body not for just the bad things that happened to Finn, but his strength to move forward in life and share his talents with Southland. Finn had a tragic childhood, and it has shaped him into the person he is today and while he thinks he is emotionally broken, deep he isn’t, and Effy sees to his soul. Effy has loved Finn for a long time but his hesitant to ever show her how he feels always shatters her heart so when she thinks it’s time to move on, she realizes she never can, and Finn doesn’t plan to let her. These two souls were meant to be from day one but so many demons reside in Finn’s head he can’t show how much he loves her until he learns to let them go. I loved everything about this book, the way the guys formed their own brotherhood and created their own family, their loyalty and love for one another, Effy and Finn’s love, just everything was beyond breathtaking. The twists and turns had me on edge waiting to see what would happen. I couldn’t see what was going to happen next, but I was dying to know. This author has made a world where in times of tragedy love and brotherhood is stronger and finds a way out. I can’t wait to read more. This is the first one I read in this series and never felt lost at all, although now I have gone back and got the first two because this group has gripped me by the heart.

I loved Finn & Effy!!

I felt it all with them. Every single emotion they went through, I went through. That speaks volumes about this author! She made me feel! 5 stars on that alone. Add in the story she gave us? I want to give her more!

Fractured Minds by Nikki J Summers is a new adult romance and the third instalment in the Rebels of Sandland series.  Each book can be read as a standalone, however the books are interconnected so I would highly recommend reading them in order.

The book does come with a caution/warning "Finn’s story contains situations of a violent and sexual nature. It also includes references to child abuse that some may find difficult to read. Therefore, it is only suitable for readers 18 years+. Please take note of the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book."

I absolutely love Nikki's books! She does an amazing job pulling you into the story and making you feel the characters emotions. I knew Finn's story would break my heart, but I was so happy to see him give into his feeling for Effy. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love new adult romances, contemporary romance, or romantic suspense.

I feel like I have been waiting forever for Finn and Effy’s story and it’s finally here and I loved it so much. I adored Finn’s story ALOT more than Ryan and Brandon’s. He’s my renaissance boy thus far. Finn’s character was absolutely adorable and wonderful, the damaged shy boy and Effy was a perfect fit for him.

We also get to see more of Ryan/Emily and Brandon and Harper which made the book so fun to read because the Renaissance boys were a FAMILY.

Nikki J. Summers did it again and her writing is flawless. I can’t wait to read Zak’s story but before him I can’t wait to read about the soldiers (you’ll understand when you read this book).

If you haven’t read this series I suggest start reading ASAP

Book 1: Renegade Hearts (Ryan & Emily)
Book 2: Tortured Souls (Brandon & Harper)

*I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Finn and Effy are so beautiful together, I cried so much throughout this read. Finn's story will turn your heart into goo, and the way Effy never gives up on him has me in all kinds of knots. This is a story where the FMC is the only light in our MMC's world, and I my heart just hurt reading the words on the page. Nikki J Summers did it again with this one. This series is incredible!
