I wasn't convinced by the first in this book series that it was worth persevering, but I'm such a fan of Richard Osman that I felt I had to give him another chance. As it turns out, this second book is much better than the first. Helped, of course, by not having to introduce all of the characters, this one focuses on the mystery to be solved and has a far superior plot to the first.

I really enjoyed this book and I am going to keep reading the series now. I mean, some of my favourite mystery solving detectives are older people - Miss Marple, Monsieur Poirot, Father Brown - so why not add Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim to the group?

Really enjoyed it (obviously, since I read it in two days), lovely ending
I must say, I preferred the first one mainly because I think the characters are what make them and they were being introduced in the first one but still really enjoyed it.
Similar feeling to the first one in that the conclusion is ever so slightly too complicated and I’m not 100% sure what it was, I am maybe 98% confident.
Either way, really enjoyed it.
