The Player

The Catch pics up right after where The Player left us. In a whirlwind of emotions. And oh boy the emotions were there. I couldn't stop reading bc I had to know that they were alright. That their love could conquer all their struggles and they just had to believe in each other. AND THEY DID all the way.

I'm so proud of them as characters, how strong they are. Their relationship wasn't perfect before the twist in The Player, but they build it to be perfect through The Catch by always having each others' backs.

Easton Wylder has my heart fully. I'm so proud that he faced his problems, and that includes ALL that was thrown at him. I did expect the last stone thrown at East, and it felt a bit rushed, but he handled it good. Ofc he gets angry and mad that was understandable, and I felt the betrayal, but he still handled it like a man, bc he has two parents whereas Scout's weren't there.

Scout. Such a strong character. How she stood up for herself, even against her father. It's so important to achieve dreams, but they have to be your own, and you have to do it for you.
I cried SO hard when East and Scout visited her father. Those who has read the book knows.

These two books where so amazing, and K. Bromberg has delivered another two books I'll reread again sometime and that I loved so much. They were funny as hell, romantic, sexy emotional and real.

Clear mind, full heart

Kristy Bromberg!?!?!?!?! WHAT'S GOING ON, HOW COULD YOU, WHAT'S SCOUT'S INTERFERENCE IF SHE GOT ONE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Dammit. I think I've reread the last 3 chapters a bunch of times and I'm still as confused.

Okay, I better get on with my review, bc the book I couldn't put down for a second. It took me nothing to get captured. First you thought, oh, Easton Wylder is gonna be your typical sportsahlete with an arrogance you think is annoying, and it also seemed so, but naaaahhh that's not the real Easton (although he still has that smirk on his gorgeous face).

Easton Wylder is simply fantastic, how he loves, how he fights for what he wants, how he manages to even keep a spooked woman under wraps ;) I love him. He's naturally funny, good looking and has a huge heart you know.

Scout Dalton, oh Scout. I really like her character too. She's strong and independent. BUT THE END CONFUSES ME! It's not that I'm doubting Scout, and she wouldn't hurt Easton, but I can't figure out what the heck happened.....

THIS book is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read this genre.
I've almost every single book by Kristy that I've read, and this one didn't let me down one bit. It owned me. I'm so glad I waited to read it a couple of days before The Catch's release though.. Now I can't wait for book 2.

I absolutely loved it!! The plot, the characters developing !! Amazing!!! I personally really like K Bromberg writing stile, she never fails to amaze me. But the eeeend, what a cliffangher. Can't wait for the next part ! June can't come fast enough.

I never thought a K. Bromberg would top Driven as my favorite of her books. And while Driven will always hold a special place in my heart for being my first of her books, Easton and Scout have wedged themselves into the top spot. The Player was captivating from the start, I couldn’t put the book down and I didn’t want to. This is huge for someone who doesn’t read sports romance on a regular basis and not only that, but also isn’t a huge baseball fan. And the thing is, Bromberg made me want to go to a game, to visit a Little League field, and take part in America’s pastime.

Scout is guarded. She hides her broken pieces under sass, confidence and bravado. Determined to prove herself as a woman in a male-dominated field, she takes no prisoners. Easton is cocky, confident and a bit jaded. He’s recovering from a nasty injury and wants the best of the best. The chemistry between these two is fiery, the push-pull between them magnetic and amazing. I loved their witty banter. I was definitely grinning a lot in this book. But it wasn’t all fun and games. There were some definite feels as well. The characters are beautifully written, wonderfully developed and complex. The secondary characters are just as great, adding additional depth to the story.

There is a lot in this book—a little bit of drama, a lot of feels, some humor and a whole lot of heart. Neither Scout nor Easton are who I expected them to be when I first started, as each page turned, I learned more. I don’t want to reveal too much. It’s definitely one of those books that you have to read and experience for yourself. I thought I was getting a typical sports romance but got so much more. I should have known not to expect anything normal from Bromberg. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I absolutely love this sports romance, K Bromberg is a one-click author and so is this book. Easton & Scout's story is fantastic, from the time they meet up until the last page, can't wait for the next book. The audiobook is fantastic, the narrators Joe Arden and Andi Arndt made a terrific job narrating it and I would totally recommend it.

Wow! ❤️

ARC received for an honest review

Now firstly, what do we think of that cover? I am not much to worry about the covers, but sweet baby cheeses, this one is hot!

Secondly, Woo hoo, a new series from K. Bromberg!

Now, what do we think of that cover? I am not much to worry about the covers, but sweet baby cheeses, this one is hot!

She has become one of my "would read if she wrote the phone book authors".

Now I am not a fan of baseball at all - all I know of it I have learned from Major League, so that being said I don't know much at all, but I do love a sports romance book.

Scout and Easton's story is sweet and sexy with a little bit of sadness thrown in there .

I loved them both from the first meeting. It made me laugh out loud and then I couldn't help but adore them both. From that moment on I was their biggest cheerleader.

My heart hurt for Scout as we learn more about her life, and I am pretty sure I am not the only only who wanted to scream at Easton's father - more than once!

I loved that Easton, even though he was all cocky sports start and player, he was all sweetness and light as well, especially when it came to his Scout.

There was lots going on in this book, and just when I thought we were going to get some answers.. BAM... holy cliffhanger Batman!

Although it is not too long until we get the next book in this duet, can it please be July already. I NEED to know what happens next!

It will pull at your heartstrings when reading the struggles each character goes through trying to prove themselves. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters and their story.
