Listening to Zachary Webber is always a good time. There were bits that I just had to roll my eyes at and deduct a star. Overall, a fun romp but it may be a long while before I’ll listen to this story again.

I’m still so obsessed with this series!

Every new character added in this series has such a unique voice, personality, perspective and challenges to overcome and I’m continually impressed with this series. As always it’s so nice to have pieces of Alex and Vi!!

I adore Bishop and Stevie and can’t wait to see where their story leads and meet the next cast of characters.

📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Sports romance

📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Hockey romance, brother’s teammate, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, injured hero.

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Stevie meets Bishop on one of the worst nights of her life and they immediately get off on the wrong foot. But when Bishop is injured, he asks Stevie for her help rehabbing - even though her brother is his sworn enemy.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I love these types of romances. Not a ton of drama, but really well written. The perfect ratio of tension and banter and spice. I read the first one in this series forever ago, and am so glad to come back and finish out the series.

Definitely enjoyed it even that much more because the audio was featured Jacob Morgan, and wooooo wee that was wonderful 🥰

A bunch of feel-good moments are packed into this book, making A Favor for a Favor a joy to read. I knew Helena Hunting had a potential hit series on her hands after reading [b:A Lie for a Lie|44776456|A Lie for a Lie (All In, #1)|Helena Hunting|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1560473460l/44776456._SY75_.jpg|69415755]. It’s now official because I enjoyed this book even more.

In Bishop, you have a surly jerk that I couldn’t help but love. His care for his brother is heartwarming and his corny boxer briefs showcase his humorous side. It’s refreshing that he isn’t a stereotypical hockey hunk who chases puck bunnies. He’s all about proving himself on the ice and securing a long-term contract with his team.

Bishop’s team captain—and major rival—is RJ (from A Lie for a Lie). As luck would have it, Stevie is Bishop’s pastel-haired, feisty new neighbor, as well as RJ’s little sister. She wants to step out of her famous brother’s shadow and establish her own career as a sports physical therapist. Stevie and Bishop get off to a rocky start due to a series of mistaken assumptions, but their friendship and mutual attraction grow as she helps him recover from an injury.

RJ can be a bit of a tool when he’s in protective big brother mode but despite his disapproval, the story is low on angst and full of fun. The audiobook features two of my favorite narrators, Erin Mallon and Jacob Morgan. When male and female narrators try to impersonate the opposite sex it can often be cringey, but these two have a knack for it. Jacob also nails the sexy and funny combo. Erin’s performance is as wonderful as ever.

Okay sue me but I liked this one better than the first one. I didn’t realize until 60% through that this is technically slow-burn, like you literally don't feel it. These two were the perfect match in my eyes. RJ was a tad annoying in this one but it's resolved and you see both sides of the story. I would like to read Kingston's book next BUT WHAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW IS I NEED A BOOK OR SHORT STORY OR SOMETHING WITH NOLAN AND PATTIE!!!!! LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!!!! Epilogue was perfect. Helena Hunting, ya really know how to write one heck of an epilogue. Anywho lovely read thank you<3

A Favor for a Favor is a satisfying slow burn romance that is as witty as it is sexy.

Stevie Bowman is used to living in her NHL star older brother’s shadow and wants to pave her own way to become a successful physiotherapist. Bishop Winslow expected to be captain of Seattle’s NHL expansion team, but loses out when Stevie’s brother, Rook, waives his trade clause to join the team last-minute. When Stevie’s housing plans fall through, she ends up living across the hall from Bishop, and offers to help him after a groin injury sidelines him from playing. And while it seems like they initially can’t stand each other, we’ll see that there’s often a thin line between love and hate.

One of the things that author Helena Hunting is particularly adept at is world-building. A Favor for a Favor is the second novel in the All In series, which series itself is a spin-off of the Pucked series. There are so many great characters in this novel, and appearances from old favorites (namely Violet and Alex from Pucked) that add so many layers and depth to the story. While it’s not imperative that you read the Pucked series (or even A Lie for a Lie) to enjoy this book, doing so will add a lot more richness and emotion to the story. But this book also works well as a standalone.

This novel is also witty, hilarious, and a whole lot of sexy. The slow build of chemistry between Stevie and Bishop is delicious to read, and makes the eventual pay off all the more satisfying. I also appreciate the way the Hunting infuses her unique humor into the dialogue and the characters in a way that makes them feel three dimensional. You either want to be the characters or be friends with them... sometimes both.

In all, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next All In novel, A Secret for a Secret.

After her last two releases having a more serious tone, I'm so happy that we're getting another hilarious rom-com from Helena Hunting! This one is a slow burn that's totally worth the payoff. (The steam is

I enjoyed this book more than the first one. I found the characters much more likeable and relatable and the banter between them was fun and sassy. I found this to be a fun, easy read as a rom-com. Side note: This book made me dislike RJ (from A Lie for A Lie) even more which I felt took away some of my enjoyment of this book.
