I love these Brayshaw boys and I have never been able to choose a favorite. But Captain...oh, sweet, sweet Captain...with all his hard decisions to make, one wrong move after another, and the blonde bombshell Victoria Vega is still standing strong in her place, waiting to officially become part of the fold. There are so many twists and turns and a-ha moments that every page leaves you wanting more and more. And when we get the big reveal of what VicVee has been up to since basically birth, it's an O-M-G moment like you wouldn't believe. The author gave us just enough of a tease of what's to come for Royce that you'll be on pins and needles until his book drops. As I've come to expect from this author, this is a fantastic read with the most loveable broken characters and I'm anxiously ready for the next installment.

I had to wait a while before I could organize my thoughts enough to write a review because this book was so heartbreaking and frustratingly beautiful. Meagan has a way to make her characters be so stubborn and aggravating but also so heartfelt and interesting to read. I wanted to yell and shake the main characters until they talked out all their issues. I have to admit, I was not ever a fan of Victoria and was intrigued to see how she would spark Captain’s interest. What I ended up loving was how the reader finally got to see the real Victoria and not the Victoria that was seen through Raven’s eyes. And Captain was as swoon worthy and frustrating as expected. I loved being inside his head and reading his words. Following Captain and Victoria as they walked a very in even path to happiness was a truly gut wrenching experience, but seeing them grow and become a family was worth it. I couldn’t be happier with how the Brayshaw story has continued and I can’t wait to see Royce fall.

◾5* REVIEW ◾

Be My Brayshaw is the 4th book in the Brayshaw High series

"Everyone pays when they piss off a Brayshaw. Cross one, cross all."

Bow down to the queen Meagan Brandy!! The boys are back baby! & so is Meagan with another oustanding book!

Be My Brayshaw is the fourth book in the Brayshaw series. This book is Captain and Victoria's story. Captain has had a special place in my heart during the first three books, and I was very excited when it was time for his book. This book is told from duel points of view which is my favorite writing style. I like knowing what both characters are thinking and feeling.

I loved getting to know the back story of Victoria. She was kind of on the side lines during the first three books, and it was nice to get to know her deeper. The connection between Captain and Victoria was great as well. Captain wanted to be the protector of his daughter Zoey, and after things that happened in the first book, he wasn't sure if Victoria should be around his daughter.

After reading this book Captain is still my favorite. He's still the silent type that has to figure out the puzzle of what's going on around him. Once you are in his line of site he will do anything to protect the ones he loves.

I really enjoyed this story, and can not wait for Royce's story! It's going to be great!

** I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have wanted this book from the beginning. I loved Captain and Victoria. The angst between them is HOT.

That baby... omg... that baby. Zoey is so cute. I love her character. Every one loves her, she was so intuitive. She knows when one of them needs her. She is adorable. Captain fell into his role as father so seamlessly. Even when Victoria was trying to do as he asked, you couldn’t help but realize how much she loved that little girl.

I loved Captain’s story. He was the strong one. He was the anchor that kept everyone steady. So, to see him fall in love with her, it caused him to slide instead of being anchored to the ocean floor. The twists and turns of this story were surprising. Every time I think we are headed in the right direction, it would twist. I literally sat my mouth hanging open.

This series is seriously surprising! Now, we wait for Royce. I can’t wait to see what happens!

Mmmmm... This one hurt me. Captain & Victoria. Their relationship broke me. And honestly I stand by Victoria.. Captain didn’t do near the graveling she deserved. That dude was straight brutal at times.

I’m going to start with Victoria because she deserves to be 1st. A true heroine. She stole the book for me. Her personal life was one of the most heartbreaking characters I’ve read. And then to turn out to be the most selfless soul. Ugh. I was glad when she clocked Captain in the jaw. About damn time. He was out of line so many times through out this book.

Victoria had so much depth to her. Her love for Zoey. And Zoey’s love for her. I mean come on

Captain, you broken and swoon-worthy man. My heart broke for you during this book. For all you'd been through at the hands of those who wanted to hurt you. For all your daughter had endured because of the life you were born into. For all your brothers went through to keep your head above water. Meagan Brandy really dug deep to pull out all the stops for this character and absolutely did him justice!

This story was tragic and beautiful. Victoria's perspective was gut-wrenching but she proved that nothing was going to stop her from getting the life she knew she deserved. She was so darn strong and determined. I wanted to dislike her in the beginning but as more time passed and she continued to prove her loyalty, in her own way, I was more drawn to her and her happiness. I was worried that she'd be giving Raven a run for her money, but they complimented each other in the best ways.

Be My Brayshaw was so tangled and corrupt. You really had to pay attention or you'd miss something imperative. I found myself having to go back and re-read parts of past books to refresh my memory because there was just SO MUCH going on in this world. So many small details that made huge impacts.

I really loved Captain and Victoria together. They were exactly what each other didn't know they needed. The push and pull between the characters made this such a fun read. The angst was so high and you were chomping at the bit for the fireworks to finally detonate!

Victoria's love for Captain's daughter Zoey was on another level. Some of my favorite scenes in the book were between Tor and ZoZo. Their connection to one another was unbreakable. They shared a bond that no one would ever understand. It was breathtaking.
