4.5

idk this one might be my favorite, i feel like it’s pretty close to a 5 star.

this book was crazy stupid CUTE. my heart was so gushy reading this. i don’t read a lot of friends to lovers, but gosh i loved these two. i was crying, laughing, swooning, feeling all mushy gushy and gooey inside.

this one is deep if i’m being honest. both characters lost a parent at a young age and faced a lot of grief in trying to deal with it. i’m not kidding, i CRIED multiple times. it was so emotional and just hit a soft spot inside of me and i was so sad and emotional with the characters. i felt what they were feeling and it hurt me. i haven’t lost a parent (thank you lord) but i’ve lost grandparents so i understand some of the feelings associated with losing a loved one and facing grief.

i loved the pacing of this book and their stories. i appreciated the other plot with alexis and this family she didn’t know existed. it added to the story perfectly in my opinion. i was never bored, i couldn’t put this one down. if i had any chance to read it you bet i had my head in this book reading it.

there was a lot both characters went through and a lot they had to work through and understand. i enjoyed watching them grow and learn about themselves and their experiences.

Really enjoyed this one and definitely my favorite in the series so far. There is so much development in the characters in each book and I really apply that the book apples real struggles between relationships. This series is a must read!

I loved this book. I was a little cautious after not loving book 2, but this book made up for it! I loved it so so so much. It actually had me gasping for breath ad I laughed at one part.

BRING ON THE RUSSIAN'S BOOK!!!!!!

Disappointing compared to the first two. Too much angst. Not enough rom or com.

Another great read!

Such a sweet story, predictable, but that's often what makes us keep reading. We know they win in the end and often with a twist.

Language. Adult scenes.

I have really enjoyed this series. Noah and Alexis story is a friends to lover trope. They bonded together over losing parents early in their life. Love this friend group in these books! It’s a quick, good read!

#3 in bromance book club. Alexis and Noah Good series

4.5 stars - best book of the series so far

“People screw up. A lot. The key to a lasting relationship is the ability to forgive over and over again.”

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third book in Lyssa Kay Adams’s Bromance Book Club series. This one is a classic friends-to-lovers with some major family drama plopped right on top. It deals with themes of loss, grief, anger, avoidable death, hackers, abandoned family, and organ donation. Yes, you read that right. This book is so full and there was never a dull moment. Adams did a great job balancing the relationship with the plot in this one. While friends-to-lovers is not at the top of my list for favorite tropes, I still really enjoyed the two main characters and appreciated their stories outside of their relationship. Not to mention, there were multiple points throughout this book where I was absolutely cackling (Thanks Bro Book Club).

Though it’s hard to choose, brevity tends to be best, so here’s one thing I adored and one thing I detested.

3.5⭐️ i kinda just wish they did more cute nerdy stuff together
