Love it! Preppy is back!! Bow ties are cool!!
I absolutely loved this book. It is raw and not all sunshine and rainbows. I love the hard love King finally has to give Preppy and snap him out of his funk. I’m loving Preppy and Dre and their whirlwind together. I am so eager to read the last book!!! Great series!!

Preppy 2
Loved it. That cliffhanger was terrible though. Need to know what happens asap! Loved them together again and can't wait to see them grow more

Again, I couldn't put this book down. It's hard to give a review of this book without giving away to much. So I'm going to try and keep it to some quotes:
“That’s one of the reasons I’m here. In town. For closure. I’ve made so many mistakes. So freaking many.”
“Did you find it?” Preppy asked. “Your closure?”
I looked over to the dark corner and felt his eyes on me when I whispered, “Not even close.”
“I have nightmares all the time. You know what’s the only thing that makes them go away?” He placed his hand over mine. “You. You silence the world when it’s too fucking loud. You make me feel less broken.”
“Hey Doc?” he asked, searching my eyes. His laugh quieted and his smile fell.
My stomach flipped. “Yeah?”
“This time…I’m gonna keep you.”
“But I was saved by someone. I wouldn’t call him a guardian angel exactly. More like a devil with good timing.”

"You are my light when I'm surrounded by nothing but dark."
As on of my all time favorite characters, Preppy has a very special place in my heart. I though Part Two was a great continuation of his story. It started out a bit slow in the beginning but I thought those moments were essential to the story. We can't always have a happy, funny and care-free Preppy. This man has gone through very horrific things and it broke Preppy. My heart broke for him because his light was dimmed, but not completely burned out. I was really excited to see how his relationship with Dre would progress in this book, and I have to say it did in a very organic way. Nothing felt rushed and the author took her time to tell the story.
"I was lost." "You were, but I found you."
I loved being reunited with King, Bear, Thia and Ray. They are a very important part in Preppy's life and were such a support to him in this book. There are a couple of secrets revealed in this book that I think was done and handled in a very clever way. The author didn't add any unnecessary drama to the story, which is one of my book pet peeves. Another character I loved made an appearance in this book, I hope he will play a bigger role in Part Three. In this book you'll see another side to Preppy. I felt I really got to know him better and understood where he was coming from. Preppy and Dre are perfect for each other and I just can't wait to see how their relationship will grow in the next book. As for the ending of Part Two, let me just say that it has me on the edge of my seat!! I need more PREPPY!

We pick up right where we left off. Preppy is trying to come out of his coma. When he finally awakens things are different and he's missed out on a lot. Even though Preppy is awake he's just going through the motions and something is missing. And that missing piece is Dre.
Dre is clean and sober and trying to help her father out after everything he's done for her. After some doubts and insecurity they reconnect but Preppy is still having trouble dealing with his ordeal. Preppy refuses to talk or even think about what he went through. He's living but he's not alive.
This book also showed a different side of Preppy. I'm used to the comedic relief he provided in King. Now we see a broken down and fragile version of Samuel Clearwater. We also witness Dre this time around fixing him after he saved her in their first encounter. I loved how they are both able to heal and save each other.
What I also loved about this book was the growth of the characters. Preppy and Dee have both through some horrible stuff and their characters matured in this story. I'm a big fan of character growth and Frazier nailed it! I must say that ending just about killed me! I now see why they call you the Evil Ginger! I need the final book and I need it yesterday!!!
