Better than the first but a very sad story. I am eager to finish the series and read the last book!
Part two of Declan & Braelynn’s story. This starts with a bang. My heart was thundering in the first chapter, after Tease Me Once ended on that cliffhanger we are thrown back in and shown exactly what dangerous life Declan Cross is a part of.
Both Declan & Braelynn spend a lot of this book fighting emotions. Braelynn loves Declan but is losing herself, terrified of his world. He loves her back just as hard, she is everything to him, but there are obstacles in the way he cannot avoid no matter how hard he tries. A lot of hesitation comes from trust on both of their ends, but they do fight for each other in their own ways. We are given more from his brothers in this one (and now All He’ll Ever Be has bumped to the top of my TBR - Aria & Carter Cross’ story) but this didnt answer all the questions I had, if anything I have more!
I dont want to give any spoilers as this is a series, but the anticipation for book 3 - Then youre mine!

I'll Kiss You Twice picks up right where Tease Me Once left off. Declan believes Braelynn has betrayed him, and is keeping her with him as he figures out what to do. Both of them are tortured by the situation and there is a great deal of angst and steam throughout this story. I enjoyed this a lot, but I'm not a fan of miscommunication and it feels like there could have been more of a conversation between them around what happened, but Declan in his belief that Braelynn has betrayed him, doesn't want to discuss the betrayal and Braelynn is too frightened to push anything. The last book in the trilogy is slated to release in just a few months, which is great after the more than year wait for this second book. This ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what is going to happen next and how things will unravel for the two of them.

Declan is the Cross brother who scares me the most. This man makes me shiver, and infuriates me all in the same breath. Dark, and authoritative, he "makes no bones" about owning all his decisions. As for Braelynn, she continues to win me over, and I find myself continually championing her. I kind of want to grab the other characters, and shake them a bit on her behalf. Fair warning, this book will make you gladly give up your sleep in the pursuit of "just one more chapter". More time with the Cross brothers is always a good thing, and I cannot wait for the next book!
Okay this couple is definitely tearing me apart, I don’t even know what to think or feel about it. This book definitely had me in my feels and I just want everything to be okay for them, especially Braelynn. She has done nothing wrong and her entire life has been turned upside down and into a mess. And that cliffhanger, damn, I’m so glad I have the next book because if I didn’t I think I would die inside. I need to know what happens next, especially if Braelynn is okay.
“I don’t know what happens once you die, but it can’t be worse than this. Than every regret stealing your breath and every fear paralyzing you.”

I had a hard time with this addition to the series. The first book held my interest. But this one the main characters insecurities drove me crazy.
Declan let’s his brothers and others sway him into believing that Braelynn is working with police to bring the family down. In the first book it seems like Declan is a better judge of character, but no he is easily swayed. This leads to him allowing Braelynn to be tortured for information. And treating her like a suspect/ informant for most of the book.
Braelynn suffering from PTSD becomes in a sense a sex slave. She isn’t allowed to leave the house or Declan’s wing of the property. He sleeps with her when he pleases. But she isn’t allowed to contact her mom. Braelynn has to cope with seeing a murder and being tortured and seeing some of the tormentors on a regular basis.
It just seemed that it was the same ideas being repeated the whole book, with very little progression. I am really hoping book 3 redeems Declan, or at least gives some sort of closure to this couple even if it isn’t a HEA.
I received a free copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest review.

Oh Declan! This man! In Book #2 of the Shame on You Series, Braelynn finds herself getting tortured and questioned. Scarlett is now dead and the FBI is asking way too many questions. But who was the rat? Declan comes to Braelynn's rescue and takes her to his compound. No one but him decides what to do with her if she really is the one who leaked information to the FBI. Scared, weak, injured, and in love with a man who could end her life. Braelynn has to decide is love enough and worth being scared for.
Declan and Braelynn's love is almost palpable. Ugggg! And it hurts me knowing how that must feel for the both of them.
I'll Kiss You Twice does end with a major cliff hanger. I screamed when it ended. But I will be back for more. Even though Declan is such a "bad" boy, you fall for him hook, line, and sinker. I can see why Braelynn's contemplates if love is enough for his lifestyle.
I will be recommending I'll Kiss You Twice to my naughty reading friends. This book does contain a lot of sexual content and violence. But it is so good if you are okay with that. Thanks to W. Winters and Sophie Broughton for the digital copy of I'll Kiss You Twice in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you!! 5 stars for me
