Wth did I just read type of book!
It's really hard to rate story collections.
At first I thought I won't rate it. But not rating it would be such a disgrace to this so uniqely amazing book.
Stories that I liked in this book, I liked them A LOT. I LOVED THEM.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THEM!
The first story was my fav. It was a 6 stars story for me.
But the stories I didn't enjoy were so so.
Still, there is touch of uniqueness to each stories.
Overall if you like dark, weird, wth did I just read type of book, you'll enjoy it sm.

most of the stories are ok lang, a bit forgettable if not for their absurdity. im finding im a bit of a boring reader haha the stories here are very adventurous but like, thats it. the title story is good though, and an interesting study on the escalation plot

I finished reading “Cursed Bunny” as an e-book a couple of nights ago, but after purchasing a physical copy earlier today when I was out in town with my lovely girlfriend I decided to do a reread on most parts and… God damn it. I would build a throne for Bora Chung with my bare hands purely so that I can kneel down before it.
This. Book. Blew. My. Mind.
Rereading “Cursed Bunny” a second time and actually analysing each story made such a difference. Suddenly I could see all the layers underneath, and found hidden messages sneaked into every little detail. It starts with “The Head”, a disgusting story about a woman who tries to run away from her own dreams and desires so that she can be happy with living the life everyone else expects her to, and ends in “Reunion”, a story about people who has gotten stuck in life and are unable to save themself unless someone else sets them free. And then - in between this - we get a taste of female oppression, generational trauma, greed, betrayal and the crushing weight of tradition.
Bora Chung delivers quality from the first page to the last.

Not for me, really forced my self to read.. gave me headache. Just some weird short stories without proper closure, and mostly sad ending. But felt real in that sense, that's how life is
