Reading this book was like having a blanket wrapped around you and a big steaming mug of tea handed to you. This is a much needed book for anyone to read not just depression-anxiety sufferers. The book is broken up into segments with short passages, notes and Matt Haig’s experiences with sever panic attacks and depression, making it easy to pore over at your leisure. Totally worth reading.

“Find a good book. And sit down and read it. There will be times in your life when you’ll feel lost and confused. The way back to yourself is through reading. I want you to remember that. The more you read, the more you will know how to find your way through those difficult times.”

This was fine, but I would hardly call it a novel. It's like a collection of stream of consciousness, blog posts, and lists. Pretty standard fare on conquering anxiety, getting offline, appreciating what you have, and living in the moment. Enjoyable, but get it from the library.
