An important book for our anxious times. I will keep this book by my bedside and bookmark passages to retrieve when the world is just too much. I want to give this to everyone I know.

Like therapy in book form. Left me thoughtful - like all works by Matt Haig. Also - interesting that this was published in 2018. Can only imagine what he’d say in 2021…

This is a must read for everyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Some really helpful reminders on how to be more human. How to be more present. How to be less concerned

This book made me consider my social anxiety a lot, I finished my green tabs marking "relatable" with this book, That's how much I felt he was talking to me.

This is categorized as a self help book, and being an enemy of self help books, I'd argue it's more of reflections and short personal pieces about anxiety and the role of the world and society we live in in manifesting it and affecting us. Because it comes from a personal experience, I felt more honesty and sincerity in his advice, and I actually marked a lot of advises for future reference, when I need a pick-me-up.

I'd recommend this book for anyone suffering from mental illness and anxiety and depression, it really helps in calming you and putting a lot of thing into perspective.
