I was already recommending this book 20 minutes into reading it. The author is able to articulate so many feelings that I have. This spoke to me, deeply.
medium-paced
I read this book after I finished Matt's other book - The Midnight Library. I really enjoyed this more self help driven book from the author. It was refreshing to hear from someone who is learning how to navigate a over stimulating world as a sensitive / anxious person. Thank you, Matt!
Very practical, funny and real!

Interesting, brings up some interesting points about the link between technology and mental health but I don't feel that I gained anything new from reading this book.
There was so much about this that I enjoyed and found comfort in. It was good perspective and a great beach read. While some of the content is a little too politically agnostic, I'd recommend for anyone looking to understand those that struggle with their mental health.
A nervous book that did calm me down by the end of it and leave me hopeful.

Enjoyed this but not as much as Reasons to Stay Alive. I think if you suffer from GAD you'd find this really helpful, but RTSA focuses much more on depression.
Notes on a Nervous Planet is a great book to add to your digital minimalism toolbox. I loved Matt Haig's anecdotal writing and how he shared his personal struggle with mental health and how social media played a role in it. I highly recommend listening to the audio.
