An honest and emotional view at how the modern world affects our mental and physical health. This book shows that we’re not alone in our feelings and makes you feel heard. I think a lot of people could benefit from reading this book, with our constant online lives everyone needs a break now and then

I love the formatting of the book too, it shows lists, tips & recommendations, short chapters etc

While you might not agree with everything in here or love every single chapter, I think everyone can find something in here to relate to

I've been stuck in the longest reading slump of my life and this book really helped to slowly bring me out of it. Also it's a really really really great book!

I was such a huge fan of Reasons To Stay Alive and Notes on a Nervous Planet is just as raw as Reasons To Stay Alive was. My mental health has been very unstable for a while now and reading self-help books like this truly gave me a sense of comfort for some reasons. The way I relate to what the author is constantly dealing with makes me feel less alone in going through all this. I know this season will pass and I will be better. And this book taught me so too.
