I liked Levi in "Out of Frame" and was happy to see that he got his own book. This story takes a self-proclaimed "high-maintenance" pretty boy, and puts him on the Appalachian trail. The setting added a lot. While there, he meets a man who is the opposite of what you'd think he'd be attracted to, what Levi thinks he is attracted to. It starts as friendship and companionable hiking and goes from there. I appreciated the military aspect to this romance (no more details ... spoilers).

"Trust the Focus" the first book in this series is still, by far, my favourite. Despite having some tropes I could have done without, "Overexposed" has slid into the #2 slot. Rated 3.5 stars.

How Megan's books can be always so perfect?
a beautiful story, sometimes painful parts that made me cry. Levi and Thad so perfect and sweet and cute together.
This book is worth reading and the whole series too:
all beautiful stories!!!!! I'm going to miss this series...

"You're enough," I said. "You're so fucking enough. And no one gets to tell you that you're not."

I was slightly thrown off having seen this recommended as ace visibility and then having very spicy scenes, but I do love some demi representation. The romance itself was a little insta-love but I liked the real-world struggles both characters were experiencing.

Gah! I loved this!

Dealing with grief is never an easy topic. Reading about Thad & Levi, and even Levi’s mom, grief was...real. I loved these characters and found myself smiling more than once. This book is definitely the best of the series.

I did the audiobook version. I don't read a lot of stories or whatever involving hiking so that was slightly strange.

But yeah, honestly I never caught on to how thad looked. I guessed from online search results that it was a blond dude, but I also thought he'd be a black dude so IDK.

It was cool tho. Grief-filled, but comparable to doctor Zhivago considering speed, travel, different settings. Doublespeed it was about 3h10m.

But yeah, it was beautiful in the sense that "Rolling Waves" by The Naked And Famous is beautiful. I liked this pairing. I was like Levi too.

This was a good book. IDK if I could've finished it tho in text form because the grief is strong.
