Me gustó la historia pero me quedé insatisfecha, la forma en como esta escrita no me gustó para nada lo sentí muy aburrido y no me daban ganas de seguir leyendo aparte de los personajes planos a excepción de Peggy.

Esperaba más.

I reread this recently and there was so much more to it than what I got as a kid in high school.

While the downside to this book is the occasional long droning passage overly-describing the scenery, the book overall is worth it. The truths this story tells about society and humanity at large are important ones that I think people should revisit over and over again.

This isn't really a book you read for fun, but it's an important and intellectual read that really gets you thinking. Also? Scarier than most horror stories I've ever read.

DID NOT FINISH: 45%

read by the author, and you can tell that he's not a voice actor. the sample was of the first chapter, in which one kid is kind of subdued, trying to introduce himself to another boy who is basically ignoring him, so I couldnt tell that this whole book was going to be read with no emotion whatsoever. it makes differentiating the kids extremely difficult and the tone is completely out of your grasp until you hear the dialogue tag "he shouted" or "they all laughed". I'm halfway in and these boys sound calm and well-spoken.
