A fun and breezy read, easily read in one sitting. The only problem I have is that it ended at a picture perfect moment sure, but it lacked an epilogue, something I enjoy having at the end of these types of books to really get more closure on these characters arcs.
I mean it was a cute little gay book but there wasn’t much else to it. It was a nice easy read but the book’s storyline had so much more potential. Just when there was a good moment or turning point in the book, it was rushed through. There was little to none character development and some parts were straight up clichè. I also expected maybe more gayness? Also the book ended on the worst note ever, kinda disappointed.
Ignored the 7+ library books I *should* be reading and instead reread this book in under 2 hours... WORTH IT
I've always loved the 'royal falls in love with average person' trope, but Rachel making it gay???? The best thing ever. And guess what. THEY WERE ROOMMATES!!!??
This was everything I've ever wanted. I read this book in one sitting, just couldn't put it down. The writing is so smooth and hilarious!
And the characters...
From the minute I started reading, I knew I loved Millie. She's determined and stubborn and a total mess around pretty girls. She reminds me of myself a lot.
Flora. She's trying to look all tough and cold, but really she's so so soft on the inside.
I loved their relationship. The banter and laughs. The things they did for each other. I screamed at the Thanksgiving dinner!!
But I have to say. My absolute favourite character of this book. Sakshi. This girl has the funniest comments and I was laughing at her the whole time.
Oh this was such a cheeky and fun, fluffy read. My gay heart melts.
The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because I thought the ending was a bit rushed. Other than that I loved it all.
