I love that Story Graph doesn't require whole numbers for its reviews because I feel very mixed about the contents of this book. For the most part I found it very informative and I loved how he took an inspirational approach to the topic, but I think there's a lot of data about diet that he failed to analyze, or even consider.
With the world upside down indefinitely, it can be hard to stick to what used to be normal routines or even to stay focused these days. Although researched and written well before the current global dilemma, Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s latest work strives to serve as a manual toward maintaining and improving cognitive health, from debunking common myths about aging to prescribing which social interactions and games are actually beneficial.

In this book Dr. Sanjay Gupta talks about dementia and what people can do to hopefully delay or combat the symptoms of it.
I learned a lot from this book. I had no idea that so many people in America have dementia. It's also scary to know that there is no cure for it, but hopefully there will be in the future. As I was reading this book (which is a form of keeping ones mind sharp) I would find myself repeating all of the things I was learning to my husband. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to get this book so that I can always have a copy. The list of things that Gupta suggests to keep your brain sharp are ones that everyone knows because they keep the rest of your body healthy (sleeping enough, eating healthy foods, exercising, etc). The book is short and a fast read.
