wonderful, up-to-date on how to stay mentally healthy. really helpful info on specific medications that are anti-cholinergic. only wish when he speak of 'risk' of AD or dementia, he would give some quantification i.e. in 10% range or 75% range. Otherwise, one could become paranoid that every risk factor could ultimately result in 100% probability of AD later in life which is not true.
I think this book would be a 5 star book if it was your introduction to brain health and dementia. It is a wonderful guide that combines research and practical daily strategies to stay healthy. It does have a lot of information for caregivers, family members and even medical professionals.
this was interesting and I’m glad we’re starting to get more hopeful research on prevention/treatments but I’m still very scared of dementia and Alzheimer’s :~)

Wow! This book is without a doubt the best read on brain health and how to strengthen your cognitive abilities. I was blown away with the science behind what I read in this book. I borrowed it from the library, and have since ordered it in hardback. There are DEFINITELY pieces I want to reread and highlight! Amazing read!
