The story was okay, but what I really enjoyed was just being able to see how KMM envisioned some of her characters. I had also always had a bit of a hard time picturing Chester's, so I was happy to see that put to paper as well. I wish I'd been able to get my hands on a copy of this sooner, because I finished the Fever series before this book was available, and I feel like it did have enough of an important story line that I feel like I should have read it in order.
fast-paced

Was pleasantly surprised to find out there was a graphic novel for this series. Some of the characters didn’t look like how I imagined them (didn’t think Dani would be good looking), but some were on point like Vlane. Didn’t like that there were some repeated dialogue from previous books.

I found this extremely boring and horny in a kinda creepy way. Unless you're invested in this authors other work I think you can skip this one.
Tw: first chapter has several references to R*PE

I never read the books but this graphic novel gives a decent picture of the world Moning built in the book series and left me wanting more.

I loved this!! I felt the same after reading The Exile (Outlander's Graphic Novel), wanting it to continue into more storylines, or even capture some of the current Fever series books into the wonderfully drawn spectacle of awesome!!

I had my own visions of Mac, Barrons, and so on, but seeing them created in such a way by amazingly talented artists just blew me away. A definite must read for Fever fans (even newbies like myself!)

I started reading this but I got so many pages in and I find out that the main character and her supporting female lead had both been raped to gain their powers and now are mild sex addicts. I lost interest in this story entire. The fact that is' so over sexualized and lacking in story content as well as sending the message that 'being raped gives you special powers and there's no terrible horrifying trauma effects afterword' is just complete bullshit. That's what really put me off. There might be some redeeming factors in this but I couldn't seem them past the 'I'm a juicy girl' low cut t-shirt she wore. No. This is just smut and a waste of my time.

Even taking into account the fact that I hadn't read the previous books in the series, I didn't particularly love this graphic novel. ..Emphasis on graphic; Fever Moon is hyper-sexualized in every conceivable cheesy way: busty blonde heroine works with her gruff, on-and-off again, overly-muscled boyfriend to save the day. The plot was engaging, and the art was vivid and bright, but at times the illustrations distracted me from the story. Cool concepts for supernatural creatures as well.

*Warning* Sex between humans and monsters takes place, and scenes of sexual abuse are depicted and described.

This was such an awesome look into Karen's mind and how she pictures some of the characters and creatures. This is very much a classic style comic and has beautiful art. My favorite part was the section with Karen's character insights at the end!

I thought I wasn't going to get this book because A. I'm not into graphic novels but more importantly, B. I was so pissed with Moning that she decided to do this book instead of a continuation to the fever series. I realize I can't stay mad at Moning that long. Plus, I really want to see the fever series in print.
