the drama–this was like watching 18 episodes of Dynasty... slay 4.5 stars

I don’t even know where to start with this book…

I experienced almost every emotion reading this book. From love to anxiety to full blown rage. This story was sweet and messy at the same time. Because I’ll be thinking about it nonstop for the foreseeable future is why I gave it 4 stars!

This book is amazing! It's a story of second chances, self-discovery, and self-forgiveness. Ares and Raven will always be my favorites Windsor (very close to Xavier and Sierra). I've read this story so many times, and whenever I need a pick me up I go back to it with my eyes closed. It's never too late to love ourselves and to get toxic people out of our lives. I cried and laughed with Raven throughout the book!

Get me a gun and an alibi, and I will solve the "Hanna" problem.
I liked the characters.
The plot was...ok I guess.
Overall, not bad.

Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.7 - Loved the MMC but FMC was a bit annoying

Overall:
Well, this is a bunch of family drama and heart achromatic.

When Raven's  sister Hannah doesn't rock up to marry Ares, Hannahs arranged fiance of 5 years, Raven is forced to take her place. Raven has been in love with Eris even before his engagement to her sister Hannah. It isn't long until Hannah realises the mistake and tries every way possible to manipulate Ares back into her arms.

⚠️ Minor Spoilers ahead

What I loved:
The fact the MMC wasn't your typical AH and supported the FMC 100%. This was a great example of what men should be like. It's was refreshing to have him be so supportive.

What I wasn't a fan of:
ait was super slow and could do with less pages. The FMC lack of self esteem was a little frustrating, and she came across a bit pathetic and annoying at times.

Overall:
I gave it extra stars for the MMC deviating from the normal AH husband trope.

I cringed through most of this book. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Listen, I love a book with drama, it’s entertaining, fun and it keeps ya going. My only requirement is for the characters to not be–in the most polite way–stupid, or to switch their backbone on and off, and take way too much bs.

I suppose it’s kind of a good if you see it with wattpad eyes.

So good and swoon worthy

I just love Ares and Raven so much, reminds me of my Spanish telenovelas in the best way! I devoured this book and couldn’t put it down
