I didn't enjoy it like the last two of this series. I seriously disliked some of the things.

1. I get that Tor didn't believe Cora cause she was asking him to believe impossible things. But pretending that you believed her and continue to do so for your own selfish reason was a vile thing to do. And there was no groveling. Just a sorry and some explanation, and our heroine's got teary eyes.

2. Next, there was cheating. Tor was married to his world's Cora and she was cold in bed. And she left him. So he continued to sleep with OW. And when another world, Cora came to his world, she had to endure the shame of his OW's issue. It certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

***Cheating is Cheating... No matter what. You directly cheated on your wife. You want to sleep with OW then at least annulled the marriage before you do so. What happened to the vows you respect so much.

He was faithful to the heroine. After he meets her he was celibate.

3. It was also not believable that Tor was so talented that he figured out everything when he went to the heroine's world. But what am I to say, I was reading a PNR... Everything was unbelievable.

4. And I hate that Cora of this world had to leave behind everything to be with Tor. I didn't like this in the previous story also. It's very painful not to see your parents in your whole life.

I can't say I liked the heroine. She forgave him easily. There was a time I wanted her to fight for herself but all she did was wow, sweet, cool, hot, honey ......

I liked the story though! The way KA was trying to build a parallel universe and all. The conflict between this world & that world and the way she described it was good. As a writer, She was good, but I expected more from her. Writing Dominating heroes, again and again, is kinda irritating. A sweet, respectable hero can be strong also. I find it wrong when someone thinks that a dominating person can be a strong one.

Overall, it was not good for me compared to the previous book of this series.

This is a change of pace for Kristen Ashley and I could not be more pleasantly surprised. This is a fantastical story of different worlds with interesting characters and dynamics. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

The story definitely lives up to its name. Well the whole series does. In this story, Cora wakes up to a new world where she is reviled. Initially, she thinks she's in a dream, because everything seems almost cartoonish to her... the clothing, the furniture, the fact that she can understand birds... but quickly, she accidentally initiates a curse, which thrusts her and her husband (husband?!) together, and he also hates her. Because Cora of this world is apparently a huge bitch to everyone. Cora tries to tell Tor that she's not from this world, but he thinks she's playing a game. Slowly but surely, she wins everyone over so she's no longer known as a bitch, but Tor still thinks she's making up the story of being from another world. Until they go back together. And find that Cora has been making her normal world a mess. Plus, now Tor is stuck there, too (at least he believes her now!), so they have to figure out how to get back... and then stuff happens... but everyone eventually ends up where they're supposed to be. Such a creative series!

4 Stars.

Usually a pretty enjoyable romp through fantasy land. I enjoyed the part with Noc thinking Cora is insane and offering to get her help (because in that situation, who wouldn't think that?!). I liked Tor, and that even when he didn't like Cora he was still a pretty decent guy to her (though I was not a huge fan of the "you want food or clothes? Pay me in—basically—sexual favors," as he alludes in the beginning). And Cora was tolerable the whole book. She never did anything unforgivably stupid (TSTL) or mean or anything. She was a bit of a Mary Sue, actually. I would have enjoyed her being a little less "perfect" to be honest.

I don't know how or why, but this book seemes to go faster for me. This, does not mean I loved it less. No way. Even though Tor could be an ass he made me fall in love with him. Cora though? Her I loved from the very beginning, she was extraordinary... She freaked out a lot, but what girl wouldn't? I loved every second of this one as well as the others...

4 for most of the book 3 for the end. review later

3.5/4 stars.

The title of this story fits perfectly. The land that Cora finds herself in is definitely fantastical. By design, its as if Cora is in a real live Disney movie with talking birds and evil witches who meddle with soul mates. It reminds me a lot of the movie "Enchanted"--not the premise of the movie but the "feel" of it.

I liked Cora & Tor (and incidentally, Noc as well). I liked that Cora was honest from the beginning about who she is--except of course, Tor didn't believe her. I get why he didn't... but at the same time, not. Thankfully just before 50%, the truth is believed, but still.

Overall, a good continuation of the series but so far, its weakest link.

It is amazing how Kristen Ashley can create a series of stories that are ultimately connected but still so different every time. I love it. This felt sort of like a complex telling of Enchanted, in a backwards sort of way. I loved the characters, and the descriptions of the land that they explore.

I find it so hard to actually read a good adult novel which also includes a fantasy aspect, because most books are always more about the sex than the story, and its so much about the first that it turns into a stomach turner. I like Kristan Ashley's novels because they are both of an equal measure and they fits so perfectly together.

I must say that this is second favourite, next to the first, book of this series. I love how this time you see both characters adapt to each others world and how different it was, but also similar to both of the other novels it was.

I really liked Cora. I thought both of hers were interesting. I liked how this book started like the beginning of a Disney movie, and how adorable it was when she first re-met? re-met Tor. I liked her doppelganger being a complete bitch, it added so much to the story. They both weren't annoying, and where practical at times. I think this is what I liked most about Kristan Ashley's novels.

Tor ... I really liked Tor. He is my favourite prince out of all of them. He too can act like a dick at times, but he can also be the perfect boyfriend and it made you fall in love with his character. He has been through hell an back with Cora, and its just so amazing to see how their relationship grows in this novel.

I would totally, like the other books, recommend you to at least try reading one of these books. They are amazing, and each story brings something new and magical that would make you want to wish that this world really existed... Just try it.

I really hated the second half of this book
