This was a good book! I fell in love instantly with the characters! I just couldn't give it a five because it isn't the best book I have read. The plot is very predictable but if you're reading a book like this you cannot be expecting anything else.
The first chapter when I read it was the most confusing! Throughout the book, it becomes clearer but when reading, I had no idea what was going on, to be honest!

I’m always very much on the fence when it comes to books revolving around social media. I’ve read a few previously and really disliked them but after reading the synopsis for We Just Clicked I had a feeling this would change my mind and it did!

I really liked Izzy, I thought she was funny and incredibly strong. This book deals with the grief she had from losing her brother and trying to work her way up the Instagram ladder in hopes to make him proud. Izzy had her flaws but in the end that made her more realistic and relatable. I also loved the dynamic between Izzy and her best friends!

There were times in this book that drove me slightly insane and left me screaming at Izzy and the other characters. Whilst I love a good fake dating trope there were times when I just wanted Izzy to focus on her real life and not the one she had fabricated with Luke, who I honestly hated.

This book hits the spot with its use of social media. We sometimes become so wrapped up in how many likes we get, how many followers we have and staying interactive with others that we forget to look after ourselves and make sure we are living in the moment. I’m definitely one of those people who spends too much time on Instagram but I recognise when it’s not healthy and take time away to focus on my mental health.

We Just Clicked is a light-hearted, hilarious, banter-filled novel that will leave you wanting more. It is a story about grief, the seduction of fame and living in the moment.

Thank you to NetGalley and HQ for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks to Netgally and HQ Stories for a copy of this book.

Fast paced and funny, this is a real feel good story.

Looking at the world of social media, more specifically Instagram. We follow Izzy as she tries to make it as an influencer in the hopes that it will make her enough money to become her full time job.

She soon finds out that the concept of faking it to make it isn't all it's cracked up to be when it starts to interfere with real life goings on.

I've marked the story down by on star because it was obvious where it was headed.

That didn't spoil the book as the build up was filled with plenty of dramatic laugh out loud moments but it would have been nice to have been a little less predictable.

Over all an uplifting, sweet read that will leave you smiling.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

[b:We Just Clicked|52747125|We Just Clicked|Anna Bell|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1587214360l/52747125._SY75_.jpg|73724446] is about Izzy Brown, who dreams of being an Instagram influencer as a full-time job. To increase her following, she and her coworker Luke (who, visually, look like a great couple) team up to pretend to be a couple in order to boost their social media presence and gain more sponsorships. The idea is to pretend to be a couple for a while, and then break up amicably once they've each reached their desired number of followers. As you can imagine, things don't go exactly as planned - Luke becomes obsessed with gaining more followers while Izzy falls in love with another guy (Aidan) and tries to hide her fake relationship and obsession with Instagram from him.

This was a really cute, light-hearted, and fun rom-com with major [a:Sophie Kinsella|6160|Sophie Kinsella|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1245821549p2/6160.jpg] vibes. It had great insights on influencer culture and lifestyle, with emphasis on not believing everything you see on social media. I also really enjoyed reading the behind-the-scenes that goes on with planning Instagram posts and it really made me wonder if the couples I see on Instagram are actually together
